Hells Kitchen Uk S03E01-04 WS PDTV XviD-PVR

Hey folks, time permits me to only make one post today. I was very satisfied with the US version of Hell’s Kitchen, so why should I turn down the opportunity to watch more HK ? There’s this new guy, Marco Pierre White who hosts the UK version of this very good show. I’ll have to watch the the whole lot of these episodes I have downloaded and see whether I like it or not.

The original enfant terrible of British haute cuisine, Marco Pierre White, is taking charge of Hell’s Kitchen, attempting to turn two teams of celebrities into fully fl edged chefs. Long before the recent crop of expletive-splattered celebrity chefs, Marco’s temper was legend. He’s had white-hot rows with restaurant critics, customers, his one-time prodigy Gordon Ramsay and staff. So we’re prepared for haranguing over the hobs and swearing at the sink. Yet in Hell’s Kitchen, the man some describe as the Godfather of British cooking says he plans to “inspire people and help them, not belittle them and put them down

I was patient with UK version because I adore US version with Ramsay, but this is like totally other show. It is not that Marco is boring; format is just plain stupid. Find few washout celebrities (only UK knows about anyway) who have nothing in common with food or food preparation, then give them one of the best UK chefs and let them prepare food for nearly 100 guests. What’s a point in teaching those people how to cook? If you want excellent show like US version with Ramsay, you should check some other shows done with him in UK in the last few years and the best one “Kitchen Nightmares” will also debut in US starting Sep 19th. I hope they keep the same format as UK’s kitchen nightmares.

Well, considering hell’s kitchen started out in the UK with gordon ramsay, it’s not too bad. Then the US had the chance to watch it, about a year later.

I wouldn’t call the format plain stupid. It’s still a good show, with it being reality tv.

I’m big fan of Ramsey and HK and I must say as I started watching my first UK episode I got disappointed big time. There is no excitement and feeling is more like watching late night news…Oh why, oh why?

Well, I have to agree with Inevitable, the concept is totally absurd.

Celebrities? Ok, I can live with that but having the public choose who to eliminate? That is as daft as Tycoon. We are now on episode 8 and so far this has been a disappointing appearance.

You are all exactly what is wrong with the TV viewing public, and as long as the tv stations have to pander to no-brains like you lot, tv is destined to just get worse and worse. YOU ARE THE LOWEST COMMON DENOMINATOR

Gordon Ramsey is a foul mouthed thug… and you all just lap it up like starving dogs. The reason why he’s in YOUR country now is that the UK viewers were beginning to see him for the asshole that he really is.

REAL chefs don’t act like that in their kitchen.. they don’t have to, and White proves it.

Enjoy Ramsey… you can keep him.

This isn’t the UK version of the US show.

Ramsey did the UK version first but because he now does the US version they have brought in Ramsey’s old mentor Marco Pierre White to do the new season of the UK show.

Gordon is in America now because theres more money for him there, no other reason – he still has a big audience in the UK.
As for him being a foul mouthed thug, sure to a degree.
But it’s all very pantomime, coming across as more an act than anything.
This new guy in the latest UK version however seems a really nasty bit of work. I only watched the first episode as his personality left a real bad taste in my mouth

i have never bothered with hells kitchen before but after seeing it wasent gorden i decided to give it a try. marco pierre white is amazing, about the z-listers ive only heard of two of them and i live in the uk!
maroc shows you dont need to shout and scream to scare people.

to sum it up, it says “the michelin chefs realised marco knew more about food than they did” when talking about him getting 3 stars.
    very cool

I agree, Macro Pierre White is much better.

Most people are scared to complain about their food because just the look of the guy puts them off complaining. He’s definitely a much better host and taught Gordon Ramsey everything he knows… and possibly made him cry ;)
