Longly awaited first telesync of Hellboy 2 is here, released by group OPTiC. The quality didn’t improve too much though, only the audio is obviously better. The image is still very blurry, camish with washed out colors and dark image, but hey, you get it for free. The movie was premiered almost a month ago though, so one would expect slightly better releases. IMDB rating is still very high at 7.8 points out of ten.

The sequel to the 2003 movie based on Mike Mignola’s Dark Horse comic character. Ron Perlman returns to the title role as Hellboy, a humanoid creature born in the flames of Hell and brought to Earth as an infant. Raised in secret, the adolescent “HB” becomes an agent for the secret Bureau for Paranormal Research and Development (BPRD), a covert government agency which serves as the planet’s line of defense against otherworldly evil. Selma Blair will also reprise the role of Liz Sherman, a pyrokinetic human who is HB’s colleague and love interest. “Hellboy 2″ will expand the world of Hellboy and surround him with characters both new and familiar as he confronts a deadly threat to mankind.

    Just because the R5 is scheduled to be released then A) Doesn’t mean it will actually get released then and B) That anybody will be able to sync English audio to it.

    In short, don’t worry about a non existent R5 until a synced copy actually comes out.

    I wouldn’t wait on the R5 for Iron Man because the DVD release date is set for Sept 30 next month.I would be expecting a DVD rip soon but for The Hulk I don’t expect to see a R5 soon for that either.

    Anyone have a R5 date on The Strangers ?

    There wasn’t any Stargate Atlantis last night, just a bunch of movies. The previews last week said that the new episode would be in TWO weeks.

    For the people asking about the bumps on Hellboy’s forehead, you’ve obviously never watched the first movie, or you didn’t pay attention to it. Go watch the first one, or you won’t understand a lot of this movie.

    I found it watchable. The static was a little annoying but it goes away. Dark scenes were a little hard to see. But decent if you are bored and wanna see something new.
