DIAMOND brought us a DVDrip of this the other day (Click here for post) and now group SEPTiC brings us the BluRay rip of Hellboy 2, i havent seen the movie yet but i just downloaded the DVDrip which ill be watching tonight. Enjoy!

I don’t know why anybody would create to that file size anyhow. If it’s too big to fit a DVD5, aim for a DVD9! Now, I understand that the ripper probably just selected a CQ profile, and that’s the size it ripped to, but you should be able to guesstimate better than that. If not, do a Turbo 2-Pass because I can guarantee that a ~8.3 GB 2-pass rip will be better than whatever the CQ gave you at 6.5 GB.
Doesn’t really matter to me, though, as I convert all of my HD-DVDs and BDs myself
Just downloaded the DVDR ISO of this last night. To play on 50″ HD plasma. Is this movie far more enjoyable in HD? Should I download this?
@3, it depends on the running time.
Scene quality refers to movies of typical 100 min run time length at DVD5 size.
Since this is longer than 100 min it becomes obvious that in order to keep the quality the file size has to grow.
Also take this example… Leon – The Professional… 132 min at 6.56 GB.
How is this possible? didn’t this just started in the cinemas? How comes we got these high quality rips already if there isn’t even a dvd or bluray out yet???
yep, so we have to put like a 1.2gb of stuff to fill up the DL disk. put 1 divx on it. fill it up.

Downloaded this rather quickly and watched it last night. My set up is an LG 24″ flatron monitor with a logitech 5.1 surround/sub system. Gotta say, this was a great release. Vibrant, sharp video and a very robust and dynamic 5.1 audio track.
Great movie as well. Great action, humor, fight scenes and some decent creature effects. Good, simple, comic-book story as well. Download, crack a beer and enjoy. If ya lliked it, then go out and buy the BluRay. (of course, heh)

Guys is it me only or everyone having problems with the rar files downloaded – real sad – i had to redownload atleats 1/2 of the files even after extracting there are rar files in the rar – very dissapointing.
