Spinrite sucks. If you have bad sectors you should use the sector scan utility from the manufacturer of your HDD. Seagate sector scan tool will repair seagate drives and the WD tool will repaire WD drives. I wouldnt bother repairing anything that has more than 1000 bad sectors. HDD regenerator works great.
