Plot:
After a tragic accident claims the lives of Luke Gibson’s (Gooding Jr.) wife and unborn child, he is left with critical injuries and complete amnesia. A new technological breakthrough from the Hexx Corporation – a Psi-Comp Implant that’s hardwired into Luke’s brain – saves his life, but Luke soon finds out that this new technology comes with a price and that the Hexx Corporation harbors sinister plans for the new device. With the help of new allies, Luke tries to recover the memories of his past while uncovering the Hexx Corporation’s true motives.

    Good cast?! Good CAST?!?!

    Have you watched a Cuba Gooding movie lately? He’s the poster child for Has Beens. I’m not sure if it’s alcohol or drugs (or both), but the guy’s been blacklisted from any real roles.

    And Kilmer, I still think he’s got some fight left in him, but if he keeps doing crap like this, he’ll be in the same situation as Gooding- ready to put out to pasture.

    This is what’s known as a “You may hate the film, but you’d love the new house!” movie. Also known as the Michael Caine-Morgan Freeman path to riches. Money from craptastic work is still money in the bank. Actors have bills to pay too.

    Val kilmer’s pretty decent actor, Cuba Gooding Jr is ok. Both are cheap to hire for a mid-price run of the mill action film. which i’ll be watching tomorrow.

    It’s too bad for Cuba and Val. They were both A list actors. Cuba won an academy award. I don’t have time to do the research, but has there ever been an academy award winner who’s sunk so low after doing such great work?

    All of Gooding’s recent movies are terrible. Just trash. Not even worth the bandwidth. I’d rather piss away the bandwidth watching Slaughtered Vomit Dolls or watching the ‘Numa boy’ pork his sister up the ass. This is even beyond mumblecore fer Christ’s sake.

    I know, I know. I’ve said this a million times. If you’re just after the money you go for the money. But you sometimes cut off yer nose to spite your face — like Kinch the knife blade from Ulysses. Stevie “Seagull” makes a plethora of bad movies but his bank’s happy and he’s not panhandling on the streets.

    Yeesh, that’s why I can’t stand most of the crap Hollywood churns out and then they have the audacity make commercials about starving Africans. Just give ‘em condoms.

    contrary to all of my expectations, this is actually a really good movie. It does look a bit low-budget, and the dialogue is a bit thin, but the script is really clever, and the characters are well fleshed-out.

    I read all the reviews here and then decided I’d see if it’s just that you’re a bunch of know-nothing critics. I apologise PROFUSELY for thinking that you were!

    Halfway through the film I began to believe that pressing hot knitting needles through my eardrums would bring the sweet joy of relief. The dialogue is crap. The story COULD have been worked well, but good lord folks, it’s just another implant story.

    What the HELL happened to Cuba and Val? I mean really…

    Val Kilmer: Dude you were in so many good movies. You played alongside DeNiro AND Pacino. If you need extra cash, I can paypal you a couple bucks to tide you over so we don’t have to be assaulted by this crap.

    Cuba: I hear your next film calling… your co-stars are VanDamme, Segal, and Rob Lowe.
