You need to unrar the files first before you can play em. Use UnrarX.

For playback codecs, get Perian plugin for Quicktime. It’ll have Xvid video playback and AC3 Dolby Digital sound support.

Can someone tell me how to watch these files on a Mac (run Mac Os 10.5 intel)? I’ve installed the Xvid Codecs that should make it compatible with quicktime but it won’t open, nor does VLN work.

Just finished watching this.

Very good film (it has a 94% approval rating from critics on Rotten Tomatoes and I can see why).

If you like good acting and an interesting/amusing character study then this should ‘float your boat’(as should most of Mike Leigh’s films – he’s a great film-maker / writer).

NOT recommended to the kids on here who need lots of action or special effects to enjoy a film, or the moron above who just said “British movie, pass.”

I thought the trailer looked funny and so I watched this last night.
