ok for install of xp after u find the load file cant remeber where i found it make a .bat file in halo 2 dir and paste this in it it will load halo 2. copy this. CMD /c “C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Halo 2\Loader.exe” halo2.exe

i can’t find the crack files needed to copy to the install folder. (MF.dll) where would that be? does anybody have a stand alone crack for halo 2?

Installed Halo 2 on Windows XP – OK,
Start Halo 2 on Windows XP – OK
But when The game loaded it’s passed to Live Gaming and ask to crete or load profile, I have live account on MSN but when I add login and password it passed to downloading the account and halted with message Invalid CD key pls add correct!!!
Please help how to play Halo 2.

@anyone having problems running the loader.exe:

If you cannot run the loader try to install the vcredist.msi from the redist directory of your Halo2 DVD first. It seems like the loader needs some runtimes installed with vcredist.msi….

First things first. I am a noob. Iv’e read through these comments and all I want to know is if there is a patch for Halo 2 on XP where I can still play online. I am thinking about buying the actual Vista version but I want to make sure I can download something to make it work on my XP. Thanks
