Halloween 2007 Unrated 720p BluRay DTS x264-HDxT

A while ago HDxT released the 720p of Holloween. The movie was terrible, one of the worst movies i have watched. Ihaven’t watched the original nor intent to. Anyway its a unrated copy as well so you might see a little more gore. Enjoy.

The residents of Haddonfield don’t know it yet… but death is coming to their small sleepy town. Sixteen years ago, a ten year old boy called Michael Myers brutally kills his step father, his elder sister and her boyfriend. Sixteen years later, he escapes from the mental institution and makes his way back to his hometown intent on a murderous rampage pursued by Dr Sam Loomis who is Michael’s doctor and the only one who knows Michael’s true evil. Elsewhere a shy teenager by the name of Laurie Strode is babysitting on the night Michael comes home… is it pure coincidence that she and her friends are being stalked by him?

    Still no re-release of the 1080p Dark Knight Blue ray that was nuked =/ But it isn’t released till the first week of December I think so I can wait.

    Oh and these new versions of Halloween stretching the already thin Story link to almost near nothingness are what makes Horror movies like these Scary… just not the “Scary” they hoped.

    More like its so crappy its Scary to think about it.

    @4

    I honestly find it hard to believe anyone would want to illegally download this, not only is it utter crap most of the other director’s attempt at horror was also. The original was, and remains the only decent movie with Michael Myers. Same with Saw, the first was ok, the other 4 were pointless, simply adding new sadistic contraptions. I don’t know whats worse, the production company’s that fund the projects, or the people that actually spend good movie to go and see them.

    100% behind Vantec on this point (no joke intended). This is really an excellent sample of crappiest stuff. As an editor he did the right thing by writing those comments.
    If someone liked it, no harm there. The stuff that VOMiT DMT etc dishes out every week has a very loyal fanbase and contenr wise this 1 belongs to the same category.

    @3 liverpoolphil is totally right - this film was totally decent remake; remarks like the poster’s specially after we have to put up with a diet of STV movies and TV trash at this site just scream that he’s an idiot who knows nothing about horror movies

    Why do people find this movie to be bad? I find its one of the better horror movies of the last decade. weird.

    @jay

    I just thought it was boring and lasted to long.

    Two horror films I thought were suprisingly good were Freddy vs Jason and House of Wax.

    Opinions vary, so i could care less if someone does or does not like this remake. I personally did not. That said, if someone hasnt seen the original Halloween, which was a masterpiece, they have no business reviewing or giving an opinion on any horror movie.

    @james

    wow. you like house of wax?? oh dear…

    @everyone who said this film sucked

    this film is actually one of the better halloween films (everything after 2 sucked so SO much) rob zombie did a good job of making a good halloween movie to recover from all those TERRIBLE TERRIBLE sequels that followed. i recognise this version as the 3rd real halloween movie.

    and yes. vantec, you post so much utter trash on here and u say THIS films is crap? i worry about you sometimes

    Can I please ask why you would rip into a movie (and its amazing original version) when you have NEVER seen either?
    Your here to let us know about what the scene releases, not to give us your unfounded, uninformed, uneducated idiot opinion…

    Rlslog: hot info on our idiot staffs opinions on movies released by the scene

    Vantec I actually hate you… and not just because of this, but also because my girlfriend and I had a running bet to see who from this site would be the first to try and copy the “everyone is fed up with tv posts” option that the “better” release site created two weeks ago… and I lost the bet because it was you bumwipe.

    He´s never seen the original Halloween? What is he…19? Yeah, this movie sucks, but that´s because the original was so much better. Leave the comments about remakes to somebody who has seen the original Vantec.

    This remake was rather poor, but the original remains (for me) one of the finest horror movies of all time. Well worth watching, Vantec!

    As for the sequels, Halloweens 2, 4 and H20 all have their moments. Avoid 3, 6 and Resurrection like the plague, though.

    Just my 2c :)

    The John Carpenter original is a classic alongside Escape from New York, Assault on Precinct Thirteen and Big Trouble in Little China.

    The remake made me feel like my eyes had been raped.

    Gotta agree with Vantec… fricken’ awful movie. I don’t know who would waste 4GB on this, let alone 700MB for a standard DVDrip.

    @ 22 philip

    “I don’t know who would waste 4GB on this, let alone 700MB for a standard DVDrip.”

    Do you understand why people say “let alone”???

    How about:

    “I don’t know who would waste 700MB for a standard DVDrip, let alone 4GB on this”…

    Makes a little more sense no?

    first of all why the fvcck can you not watch a remake when you haven’t watch the original? its a fuken opinion. he didn’t like the ‘remake’ so be it. Its not like the remake is the continuation of the orginal. Also i have many mates who haven’t seen the original. so fVck you! i WOULDN’T CHANGE ANY WORDS TO DESCRIBE THE MOVIE IN WHAT RLSLOG DESCRIBED IT AS. IF YOU LIKED THE MOVIE MOVE ON! rlslog doesnt need fvked up fanboys criticizing reviews.

  27. whatever
    November 23rd, 2008 | 21:27

    im not a fanboy and expect nearly most people to have seen the original,and if cannot have someone criticizing your reviews then dont review

    I saw this movie when it came out… I thought it was a great remake (most remakes are complete crap, but this one still had some entertainment value on it’s own).

    I think the best way to watch a horror movie is in a movie theatre out near the ghetto… Lots of angry black girls = entertainment value for the money (”Oh no!” “Don’t go back there!” and my personal favourite: “Run B!tc# Run!”)

    Great way to watch a movie.
