An interesting day with two DiAMOND release. Looks to be a cracker of a movie (which I call Travoltage) packed with stars – Travolta, Pfeiffer, Queen Latifah and Christopher Walken in retro style. I like good Musical movies (like Saturday Night Fever, Chicago, The Graduate, etc.) and reviews point out to be a fantastic musical. Hairspray

Pleasantly plump teenager Tracy Turnblad and her best friend Penny Pingleton audition to be on The Corny Collins Show and Tracy wins. But when scheming Amber Von Tussle and her mother plot to destroy Tracy, it turns to chaos.

    What happened to all the aXXO’s torrent on piratebay? I searched http://thepiratebay.org/user/axxo/ and all his redent movies in 2007 are gone?

    Anyone knows what happened? Or its juat piratebay’s problem atm.

    @4 the musical movie Hair (1979) is different from the musical movie Hairspray (orig 1988). But yes, this is a remake of the 1988 Hairspray. Broadway is typically better imo but this movie was fantastic.

    axxo is just a reencode, resulting in lower quality video. torrent trackers and so on should ban all axxo releases for good.

    Don’t get me wrong. I usually download scene release movies.

    But if a movie is not worthy of a good download from a scene release. I usually download aXXo’s release just to pass time. Since its smaller in size and quality does not matter.

    Btw aXXo’s release are usually popular even with old releases. So if somehow one day in 2008 I want to watch Hairspray, I know I can depend on an aXXo’s release with the seeders still there (and you know that an aXXo’s movie is decent and dependable even if its not the best).

    You can say anything you like about AXXO, but at least his releases are never Nuked, unlike some of the so called high quality videos, which after spending hours downloading you just end binning.

    aXXo is good only for ur stand alone DivX players. Action movies with lots of motion, have low bitrates and no 5.1 ac3 for aXXo releases. Long live the scene.

    Why do they release 2cd versions instead of 1.4gb versions,
    they always seem to loose a second or two between the two discs. Surely the whole world has dvd writers at this stage.
    Oh by the way, that axxo guy only ever releases dvd rips that he does himself.
