    as far as i know this one has the best copy protection ever, the name is INSTRUMENTS, without them the game is pretty much useless. Does anybody knows if the wireless instruments are compatible with the pc using the wireless receiver??

    you can play it with your rock band 1 drums..they have usb and are working with windows..otherwise buy a wireless adapter to use your wireless instruments on windows

    these games are brilliant on the pc, just get yourself a usb guitar from argos and your set to go. got mine for a tenner on sale, which aint bad as they are usually £40. got mine around two months ago and im not sure if they still sell them but will post link if i find it

    I downloaded the 1GB split Files. After succesfully joined and emulated I get this error:

    Error 1335. The cabinet file'Data11.cab' required for this installation us corrupt and cannot be used. This could indicate a network error, an error reading from the CD-ROM. or a problem with this package.

    Could you be kind to let us know if you "installed the game successfully" or if you could upload (or WHOEVER IS READING THIS) the Data11.cab file which is –> 1.59 GB (1,714,379,776 bytes) to see if this fixes the problem, i'd rather download that size than having to download the 6.15 GB again.

    Also if you have the knowledge, could you or someone else who has downloaded the file post the MD5 or CRC32 of those files please.

    Any help is appreciated

    It seems everything in the game is working except when I try to play the notes (gems) aren't showing up?
    If I strum and it is the correct note it registers so it is just a graphical problem.
    Does anyone know which file they are associated with?
    If so,could someone upload it, as the file must have been incorrectly installed and I don't want to waste another 6 gigabytes of bandwidth.

    hey just downloaded and installed everything works fine for me but my mic it wont recognise the mic, i have a normal usb mic and it just doesnt work :S both guitars and drums work fine with keyboard and mouse and are easy to use just have no idea y my mic int working with it anyone got a clue?

    I don't remember, i think i was looking under comments for the Guitar hero III. There was a big convo about people with amd processors unable to use the patch. not sure if thats the same issue here. But i tried all there solutions with no luck.

    For those interested, my Specs are: AMD Phenom 9750Quadcore 2.6ghz, Dual 512mb Nvidia 9600gt SLI. 4gigs ram. Windows XP sp3.

    No errors are given, doesn't show any game window, all it does is show a loading mouse icon, then does nothing.

    How links you downloaded, because here, any doesn't work, the problem is: not unrar (try with Winrar and 7zip) or the problem 'Data11.cab'…

    It seems everything in the game is working (options, menus, etc…). When I try to play any song the music starts playing but the notes (gems) aren’t showing up.
    If I guess or randomly strum and it is the correct note it registers so it is just a graphical problem. For a prolonged note the gems don’t show up but the subsequent streaks (whammy-able notes) do.
    Does anyone know which file the gems are associated with? If so, could please someone upload the file?

    I don't think it is my video card. Although I am using an ATI Radeon X700SE, which is not approved for the game, it should still show the gems…

    Loading over here is just fine. But the game crashes to desktop on my Vista SP1 when loading specific songs in both quickplay and career mode eg: Livin on a prayer and i can't play at all

    Anyone else with such a problem?

    I was able to fix the problem. If you are capable of using a hexeditor (Ultraedit, Pspad…), search for the following hex string in the vitality GHWT.exe and change the last Byte "1A" to "4E", and save it. Now it seems to work for me!

    Old:
    "9C A2 00 51 FF 15 30 33 A0 00 83 C4 0C 85 C0 74 1A"

    New:
    "9C A2 00 51 FF 15 30 33 A0 00 83 C4 0C 85 C0 74 4E"

    i turned of SLI on my video cards, and tried. the screen went black and then gave me an error saying it doesn't support my video card. i then re-enabled SLI and it still says it. i tried deleting and replacing the cracked exe. and it still says it. Nvidia 9600 is support, why must it lie to me.

    Same problem here (I don't have SLI) I have a dual monitor setup (changed to single display and still nothing) updated every driver and still nothing.loads for a sec and then nothing…

    Works fine for me. I'm using PS3 World Tour Guitar and i dont need any joy2key program or whatever, motion sensor works , everything is fine.

    System spec :

    AMD Athlon X2 5600+ @ 3.4GHZ
    Qleadtek GTX 280 1Gb OC ed.
    2gb DDR2 ram 800mhz
    Asus m2n-e Deluxe motherboard

    I dident manage to get my usb mic to work though, pretty dissapointed since it wasen't cheap . Logitech Clearchat Comfort. Maybe you need another controller to use the mic ? not sure gonna give it a try later with an gamepad.

    I downloaded from the megaupload links (7x 1 Gb links). Unpacked all the files from the iso fine but the msi file appears to be damaged. I can't even install the game or edit the msi file with Orca. I get the following error msg;

    This installation package could not be opened. Contact the application vendor to verify that this is a valid Windows Installer package.

    Can someone please upload their msi file? Thanks.

    Hey, guys, I had the same problem as AMDPhenom9750quad, sugo and fails: it installed ok, I copied the vitality crack correctly, but when I double-clicked the icon, just a pointer thingy and nothing happened, the game didin't load.

    Some guy at mininova came up with a solution that didn't work for me at first, but I did one other thing and then it went well

    You just click with the right mouse button on the vitality GHWT.exe file, go to Compatibility and mark the option with 256 colors and the 640X480 resolution (I don't know how it is exactly in an english Windows Xp, cause mine is in Portuguese, as I'm from Brazil…).

    After that, the game worled fine.

    By the way, I'm using a WinXP SP3 with GeForce 8500GT 512 RAM DDR2.

    The notes are not showing up! :/
    Changed graphic settings to high.. changed difficulty and notes still doesnt show.
    I have reinstalled twice…

    I have GH3 and GH:Aerosmith and both work fine. Any clue of what is going on? Should I Download again?

    If you have no notes, it's probably because your GFX card doesn't do shader 3.0. Just a guess though, but here's the supported chipset list:

    Hey does anyone have this problem with the star power when playing a song? The default controls say the middle mouse or spacebar should work but none of them work for me. Everything else works great though.
