I tried Frets on Fire because I wanted to play Tool Songs. It was not better at the time, but it was cool. My only complaint was that it was a bit buggy, and the Tool Songs only had expert level.

@8 Go to http://www.scorehero.com and http://fretsonfire.wikidot.com/ and learn how to install custom songs. I can put all the DLC and Rock Band songs into this pc version. This is way better than the console versions.

@6 ran into that before, i just reinstalled the game and it worked fine.

@10 – WTH are you on about? Only 3 links posted here so far: the 1st one (#2) worked just fine for me; torrent link (#5) which is pretty useless IMO, since you can dl the official from gamespot/other sites far faster; And the “2nd” crack (#9) which is worthless since that 1.3 patch wont help.

Point is, 1 working & 2 junk, but none with viruses.

@11 – I have this and use the Xbox 360 guitar that comes with Guitar Hero 2, it’s USB. Plug and play, no driver download needed for me. Tested on XP 32bit/64bit and Vista 64.

I still cannot believe they’re making patches for this game… With not friggin’ updating the game to make it get DLC!!! That’s the whole mothereffing reason I bought the game, beacause it was originally advertised saying you could “download” new songs for it, because I bought it brand new. I am disappointed. Good game tho! lol

I tried this a while back and d3doverrider and rivatools would not tripple buffer game after crack was installed and it kept messing up my save game data.. the few added things for this patch dont concern me and I dont need to lightin up the requirements… front row cam.. la-mo
