Guitar Hero III Patch v1.31-HATRED

HATRED released a new patch for popular music game Guitar Hero 3. The PC version of this title isn’t that common so I don’t expect that many people downloading this release, but it’s here for you. You need to restore original files provided with the release, in order to apply this update.

This is the version 1.31 patch for the PC version of Guitar Hero 3. For a list of bug fixes read the more info below. This patch does not affect gameplay in any way, only resolves an Emulator Detected error that appears on some machines after applying the previous patch.

Additions and Fixes for Version 1.31: This optional patch fixes an “Emulator Detected” error that appears on some machines AFTER APPLYING THE 1.3 PATCH. This patch does not affect gameplay in any way and only resolves this emulation issue.

This patch is to be installed only after applying the 1.3 patch. The in-game version number will not change once the 1.31 patch is installed.  This patch is for PC only. The Mac 1.3 version is unaffected by the Emulation problem.

    I tried this a while back and d3doverrider and rivatools would not tripple buffer game after crack was installed and it kept messing up my save game data.. the few added things for this patch dont concern me and I dont need to lightin up the requirements… front row cam.. la-mo

    I still cannot believe they’re making patches for this game… With not friggin’ updating the game to make it get DLC!!! That’s the whole mothereffing reason I bought the game, beacause it was originally advertised saying you could “download” new songs for it, because I bought it brand new. I am disappointed. Good game tho! lol

    @11 – I have this and use the Xbox 360 guitar that comes with Guitar Hero 2, it’s USB. Plug and play, no driver download needed for me. Tested on XP 32bit/64bit and Vista 64. :)

    Did Hatred remove the protection or are they emulating it like RLD ?

    @6 ran into that before, i just reinstalled the game and it worked fine.

    @10 – WTH are you on about? Only 3 links posted here so far: the 1st one (#2) worked just fine for me; torrent link (#5) which is pretty useless IMO, since you can dl the official from gamespot/other sites far faster; And the “2nd” crack (#9) which is worthless since that 1.3 patch wont help.

    Point is, 1 working & 2 junk, but none with viruses.

    @8 Go to http://www.scorehero.com and http://fretsonfire.wikidot.com/ and learn how to install custom songs. I can put all the DLC and Rock Band songs into this pc version. This is way better than the console versions.

    I tried Frets on Fire because I wanted to play Tool Songs. It was not better at the time, but it was cool. My only complaint was that it was a bit buggy, and the Tool Songs only had expert level.
