Guitar Hero Aerosmith USA XBOX360-VORTEX

There really isn’t much need for this release as the other PAL rls was region free, but here’s just a quick update.

A departure from other games in the game franchise, Guitar Hero: Aerosmith will follow the career of Aerosmith, by playing significant songs in their catalog in a ‘rough chronological fashion’. The gameplay will follow the band through various periods in its history, spanning from its first show at Mendon Nipmuc Regional High School in 1970 to the 2001 Super Bowl XXXV halftime show, to their induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2004. The player will start as Joe Perry, and will eventually be able to unlock Brad Whitford and Tom Hamilton.

The game will not focus on internal strife and stress within the band; Guitarist Joe Perry stated that the game would focus on the positive aspects of Aerosmith’s history. Perry has stated that “Having a game built around Aerosmith has been a huge honor and really a great experience for us. We’ve put a lot of ideas into the game so that fans can have fun interacting with our music, getting inside our body of work and learning about the band’s history.” Even though the player will be able to play as Aerosmith, they will start the setlists as the original band from Guitar Hero III with a rhythm character added as the opening act. After the player has played a song with the characters from Guitar Hero III, Aerosmith will make a dramatic entrance and the player will start the journey through Aerosmith’s career.

    @3 Just cos your too poor to buy it doesn’t mean we all are. I have the PS2 guitar, the white 360 X-Plorer and the GH3 Gibson Les Paul. I love the game and have beaten Expert on both GH2/3 and 5 stared all hard with only 6 song to go in 3 and 4 songs in 2. So yeah, you suck and that’s why you complain.

    FYI, GH:AS was leaked days ago, along with the PS2 version. If you want to play this game by downloading it, just get the PS2 version, then you can be caught (if you play online on 360).

    I’m buying this on release here in Aus, but we don’t get it till August! DAMN YOU USA AND EUROPE!

    I thought these games (GH/RB) would be stupid, until I played them. They really are the best party games out there. Now I own ‘em all, and I actually PAY for them :)

    Also, bands are starting to realize that releasing dl-able songs is an excellent source of revenue. In this age of casual piratism, I applaud any source of revenue bands uncover.

    Furthermore, until you can play Metallica’s Blackened on expert, stfu.

    Until you can beat Raining Blood on Expert [GH3], you should sit down. ALL RP songs are piss easy. RB = Party game and not very hard, GH3 = Hardcore game, VERY hard.

    Just go to TPB or Mininova and D/L GH3 for PC. AS isn’t for PC [yet?].

    you don’t even need a guitar, GH games can be played with a controller & as for the “go buy a real guitar” go buy a real gun and go on a shooting spree instead of playing FPS, go raid someones village, go drive your car at 160mph, go buy a football/basketball/baseball bat & ball/hockey stick & play outside. why this argument always pops up on GH games is a mystery. It’s a game, nothing like playing a real guitar, more like the dance-mat games but you don’t tell people playing those to goto a dance studio.

    guitar shaped controller is still a controller, didn’t see anyone complain when there was a chainsaw shaped controller for resident evil 4…..uhuhuh go buy a real chainsaw & cut some dumb fúcks head off……….. takes around 4 hours to finish this game, add to that another 10 hours or so for guitar hero 2 & 3 and i doubt i can learn to play guitar in that amount of time

    i love these people who say “learn the guitar” i play the guitar and drums and i play rock band so shut up about that. all the people i meet that hate this game is either because they cant play it or dont own a system to play it. i mean this gh series has been garbage since 3 and i love there rock band rip off on the next game.

    @29 Unlike you, I own both a 360 and a gaming rig and will be getting a PS3!

    I don’t have a modded 360 (I don’t mind buying games) but it’s GREAT to see RLSLOG cover some 360 rips, about time you guys start to acknowledge people other than just PC users/gamers. After all, aren’t 360 games still games, just for a different set of hardware?
