Guitar Hero Aerosmith PAL X360-Allstars

Hooray for rock-fans! A new Guitar Hero, the Aerosmith(!) edition just got pre’d by Allstars. It’s region-free so everyone with a modded Xbox 360 can enjoy this release. Rock on!

A departure from other games in the game franchise, Guitar Hero: Aerosmith will follow the career of Aerosmith, by playing significant songs in their catalog in a ‘rough chronological fashion’. The gameplay will follow the band through various periods in its history, spanning from its first show at Mendon Nipmuc Regional High School in 1970 to the 2001 Super Bowl XXXV halftime show, to their induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2004. The player will start as Joe Perry, and will eventually be able to unlock Brad Whitford and Tom Hamilton.

The game will not focus on internal strife and stress within the band; Guitarist Joe Perry stated that the game would focus on the positive aspects of Aerosmith’s history. Perry has stated that “Having a game built around Aerosmith has been a huge honor and really a great experience for us. We’ve put a lot of ideas into the game so that fans can have fun interacting with our music, getting inside our body of work and learning about the band’s history.” Even though the player will be able to play as Aerosmith, they will start the setlists as the original band from Guitar Hero III with a rhythm character added as the opening act. After the player has played a song with the characters from Guitar Hero III, Aerosmith will make a dramatic entrance and the player will start the journey through Aerosmith’s career.

    :O Already?! Mannn waaaaaaahhh!!! Hopefully it comes out for pc, but I’m NOT buying the game. After the disappointment with #3 as to how you can’t download extra songs, it was a waste. I bought it just for that reason: to download the extra songs that are normally always better than the actual game songs!!!

    Looks wicked, can’t wait for pc (hopefully)!

    I understand that RSLOG wants to be universal with their uploads, however, it is getting over flooded with x-box games.

    This is a bad move for RSLOG and I for one am getting tired of seeing 2-5 x-box games a day litter the page with no new software apps and mass repeated movies, old uninteresting movies and nuked movies.

    I personally have been visiting this site less and less.

    The admin better step up and clean up if they want to stay on top.

    RLSLOG is about showing it’s readers what’s pre’d in the scene. This includes movies, applications, music.. and games.

    The fact you don’t own a Xbox and can not be bothered with new releases doesn’t mean other people don’t care. You’re not the only one on the internet, you see.

    I for one am happy about the 360 games, just because some people don’t own a 360 doesn’t mean 360 games shouldn’t be posted. You don’t hear the mac users or users with slow PCs complain about PC Game release posts.

    And it really just looks like a lot of 360 releases since there are a couple coming up, the last month or two were basically without 360 games (except gta4 and rockband for PAL users). So don’t be afraid of mass 360 posts.

    For those that want to know how to burn these games I will tell you.
    First download all the .rar files and make sure that your harddrive is NTFS and not FAT32 as you will not be able to unrar the .iso which will be over 4gb.

    Once you have done that you should have a folder with 2 files
    1. The games .iso image
    2. a file that is a .dvd file.

    Most scene releases come pre-patched with the SS (security sector) so most of the time you shouldn’t have to worry but just incase have a look around and see if it needs it.

    Ok, so you are now ready to start burning but before you start we need to get a few things sorted.

    Do you have a dual layer dvd burner? If yes then carry on.
    Do you have Verbatim Dual layer discs?

    With all this ready, download CloneCD version 5 or over
    http://static.slysoft.com/SetupCloneCD.exe

    Above is the installer.

    Once installed click on the 2nd icon along which should be to burn an image file. Click on it and select it to burn the .dvd file which will link to the .iso . Make sure these are in the same folder. Click it to burn at either 1x or 2-3x speed. This should take about 25-40 minutes depending on the size of the game.

    This should work and if it doesn’t then please don’t blame me.

    Enjoy you’re 360 games.

    You neglected to mention the 360 needs to be modded, and anyone who has a modded 360 already knows how to burn a disk. Also that Aone disks are far better than verbatim and imgburn > clonecd.

    Pretty obvious you need to have the 360 modded, and each to their own in methods of burning discs. I was just putting in my 2 cents if people choose to use it or not. Not everyone who has a modded xbox knows how to burn discs, usually they get it off a dealer or friendly pirate :)

    This is a quick and easy way to show people that they could easily do it themselves.

    see http://www.360mods.net, they have tutorials on how to get your 360 flashed so it can play these games. You need a compatible motherboard and a SATA cable for your pc though, if you have those you should be able to do it by following the tutorials on that site.

    The only thing you have to do mod yoy 360 is flash the dvd drive with modified firmware. The other thing is have the right dvd drive.

    To make everybody happy, I suggest some kind of system where each user can choose what kind of posts to show up like all the people whining about game releases, then they could just choose not subscribe to them and shut the heck up already. Everybody wins. ;)

    Stop these xbox releases for god sake. There are already a lot off great console scene release sites on the web. Release log doesen’t need to be a other one.

    And i know i am not alone on the internet but you realy need to choose what type off site you want to be. untill a few months ago this was working nice for this site. But now you are showing way to many releases. If you want to show every release then people could aswel just go to a torrent site and watch for new torrents from scene releases.

    PLease make this a good site again administrator.
