Its working fine for me now, i tested it for 10 minutes and it looks fine.
eh I still get the RESC10 error. But it does run, just crashes before the menu.

I haven’t tried it, since I own the real version.
But even that crashes during the intro 2 out of 3 times.
Doesn’t work with ATI Cards in 9 out of 10 cases anyway.

@23 – yep … just searched at google for the problem and it appears to be connected to ATI 38xx and ATI 48xx cards. I own a Radeon 4850… so it’s probably not about the crack.

thats why you never copy over your orig files lol. i recommend next time you just change the extensions example GTAIV.exe -> GTAIV.exe.orig then you can paste ur cracked files in the directory and have ur backups still in the same folder.

Thanks for the heads up on the ATI cards. I have two PCs with 3850’s, and two with 4830’s. I guess I’ll wait until all the dust settles before I install it.

I have an AMD 4600 and a gf 260, and even on the lowest settings (seriously, absolute lowest) I can only get 30 fps.

@65 – I bought the game and am not happy. Running on an E6750 2.66Ghz, 8GB DDR2 800 RAM, ATI 4870 OC’d lots and can only play at 1680×1050 or medium and it looks crap! I can play most new games with all settings maxed out at 1920×1200. Which I’d just got the game for the PS3 instead – probably runs better.

@67 Heh maybe you are right. Not going to buy new though. All other new games have worked without any problems. But if this is where it is going, maybe i just have to stop playing. Not going to buy new pc every year.
I changed the settings (graphic) settings in game and was able to change the res a bit highger. This caused the screen to go in windowed mode.. didnt find solution so i booted. Trying now.

Well, the first crack i ever tried was the one tagged as FCKTHESCENE (I just waited to see something solid).
The game runs without a problem. It gave me a RMN40 fatal error at the beginning, but it solved when i installed Servive Pack 3 for Windows. It was about time. As for the drunken camera, it is solved if you don’t watch the intro cut-scene. I watched it once, restarted the game and bypassed the intro. There it was. No drunken cam at all.
I played a lot of hours yesterday. Done a lot of missions for 3 characters. No problems at all, like other weird bugs/glitches. The game is simply amazing. The graphics in medium with the sliders maxed out are more than great too.
Btw, i’m waiting my original copy from play.com to arrive. Playing online in an enviroment like this, participating in R* Social Club etc, sounds an exciting idea.
I’m gonna give this crack a try too, cause it’s a lot smaller.

There is a bug in the current Nvidia Forceware drivers for 7900 series cards that keeps the game from rendering beyond the far plane as show in the image below. NVidia is working on releasing a new driver as soon as possible. Please contact NVidia support for more information, check out the GTA forums for current driver discussions, and check the Rockstar support page frequently for updates.

THE ULTIMATE GET-YOUR-FKN-GTA4-RUNNING-GUIDE!
1. INSTALL: Install the game fully & sign up for all the sh*t they want you to sign up for. (You NEED the Rockstargames SocialClub Account!!!)
2. SHORTCUT: Do as described in many of the posts around here… CREATE A SHORTCUT OF YOUR LaunchGTAIV.exe and put it nicely on your desktop.
3. OPENING: Rightclick that motherf*cker and go to properties!
4. CODING: ENTER THE FOLLOWING PART OF THE CODE AFTER THE PATH: -windowed <———- THIS IS CRUCIAL!!!
5. RESOLUTION: Behind that enter YOUR CHOSEN RESOLUTION like this: -width=1680 -height=1050 (You can chose ANY resolution you want as long as your VGA and Monitor support it.)
6. DETAILS: Behind that CHOSE YOUR DETAILS with the following piece of code: -texturequality=2 -renderquality=4 -detailquality=99 -viewdistance=99
7. SAVE THAT: In the end your commandline should look something like this (with your proper specifications ofc):

There’s still something wrong. Cars stops on green light not on red light
guess its only bug in the game. After alt tab everything is ok

We all know that to change resolution and the rest of settings we have to add items like -windowed -texture etc..

Here is how to get the command line parameters to work with the FeD0R loader:
1. Create a new text file and name it commandline.txt.
2. Add all the command line parameters in the text file, all in a single line and follow the proper format.
Ex- if you want to run with -novblank and -norestrictions parameters, add the following line to the text file:
-novblank -norestrictions
Save the text file and place it in the GTA4 directory and run the game.
No triggers, better framerates and customizable settings.

anyone gotten successful connection through hamachi yet?
Sh*t! I ‘ve tried everything to run commands on the FeDOR crack but nothing works, the txt file with commands is not working or i’m doing something wrong(creating an account on RGSC, log in and then run it by a shortcut to launcher fails too)… Please, write it step by step what i need to do to get i working…. I have a very similar rig to yours, Portuguese, even better cause i have an C2D 3GhZ and a 8800GT 512MB, so it should run smoother but it’s awful! Awful looknig and awful working. I run over my breath… I was going to get the game as soon as it will be in my nearby shop but the internet storm of a huge bugs in GTA refused me to buy it for now, i think i will wait for some patch or something and then buy it.

If you have been playing around with other cracks, remove GTA IV and Social Club.
Reinstall and just replace the “LaunchGTAIV.exe” as the crack says and it works! 2 days after playing around with bad cracks
No more drunken cam, been playing for hours now.
Oh and when reinstalling, manually remove the Rockstar directory, if you have been playing with other cracks it leaves the old crap in there and you don’t want the clean reinstall affected.

I’m writing here for the last time cause i found my way already, and i’m happily playing gta4.
But first i will write my personal…:
HOW TO PLAY GTA4 on PC
1- Grab the 2 dvd’s from any “store” available to you
2- Install the game and activate it in the end (need internet)
3- So till now you are a legit owner
4- Then, aply GTA IV Crack Securom Bypass Launcher UBER-PROPER-FeD0R 27kb version
5.1 – Block every single exe file inside rockstar’s folder, turn the firewall on and block internet (i do this everytime, just in case, but i don’t think it’s totally necessary, i also block some hosts, but firewall on should avoid this.
5.2 – Don’t allow rockstar to run on the startup.
5.3 – Start the game on the rockstar launcher and create an offline profile on windows live. You can save now.
5.4 – So, now you have a “not so legit” version running like the worst game ever,
6.1- Last but not least. Quit the Game. Creat a notepad file and call it commandline . It will become commandline.txt , obviously.
6.2- copy this and only this to the inside of the commandlist:
-texturequality=2 -renderquality=4 -detailquality=98 -viewdistance=98 -width=1680 -height=1050 -shadowdensity=16 -norestrictions -norestriction -nomemrestrict -percentvidmem=99 -availablevidmem=1.3
6.3 – Create it and put it in Documents folder, or desktop. Then copy it to the inside of the main folder, next to gta4.exe and paul.dll
YOU’VE DONE IT. PLAY FROM THE RGSCLAUNCHER.EXE
P.S. For people who cannot handle such configurations, change the first 7 items. let the others be.

P.S.2- probably -norestrictions and -norestriction sounds redundant, but.. why not.. does it bother you?..

People!,this crack 1000% working.No shacking and good as new.Just no internet while playing.no big deal.The truth is, I used many different cracks before but no need to reinstall of delete.I’ve just replaced it with the current crack and go.yeah.!!thanks.anyway, this game too big and my harddisk near saturated to keep this file.

This worked for me.
Unfortunately I need a new PC to actually be able to play it (Another CPU & Craphics card) but it started and I was able to play.
What I don’t understand (and hope will be changed with a patch) is why you can’t change any controller buttons.

Installed and played with this crack for over 5 hours, no patch bugs outside of the crappy R* mess… sweet thanks.
Also I have everything set to medium and used the auto config thing, turned off shadows to 0, 4xAA/aa override as well and 1600×1050 runs like a charm on my 8800gts640mb card, a little fps drop when it rains but otherwise really nice.. sort of like GTA SA on max settings with a few visual bonuses.

It’s working 100%, I’ve been playing GTAIV for 8 hours straight and there was no shaking camera or anything unusual.
The only “problem” is that there seems to be no way to use “-norestrictions” on this one since it has to be launched through the Social Club and adding the parameter to launcher shortcut does nothing.
ve tried everything that is kind of crack .. Some of this error .. others when shooting GTAIV.exe I’ve downloaded the file of 12MB .. he asks the file .. and when you put in this error .. someone could help me? and also in other pc’s

yes my KIS 2009 also finds a virus today, but before that file was clean, my guess its really clean, probably Rstar paid to Kav and other AV companies to add this file to virus list, so just add file to exceptions in KAV or simply disable “files and memory” in antimalware protection when you want to play, also rar fedor folder and password protect it so Kav can’t delete rar archive.
Before playing disable “files and memory” protection and unrar launcher to gta4 folder and play.
Its true..try to find info for this ”virus”..there is no info for it..
this crack is out how long 2-3days..and suddenly it got virus..
its fkinf crap..my ZoneAlarm detected today same virus..but ofc is not a virus..
Hmm, After KIS Update once more. Now it says the file is clean. Can annybody else try this? Try Scan it With KIS and see what it says now.

As I say probably Rstar asked AV companies to put file as virus so people stop playing cracked game and go buy one, I will buy GTA 4 when/if they release a patch that optimize a game and fix memory leaks.

2) Download & Install the GTA4 Update Patch…

4) Download the FeD0r SecureRom Bypass Launcher from any Links referred to it & copy the LaunchGTAIV.exe over the existing file in your current GTA4 install folder.
5) Start the game from the RGSC (Rockstar Games Social Club).
The icon should be in your taskbar near the clock, double click on it & click on PLAY.
6) When you want to save, it will tell you that you must be logged into an account. Accept to log-in/create profile in Windows Live tab and click on "Create OFFLINE account"
NOTE: the Razor1911 Crack WILL NOT work with the GTA4 Update patch, so don't even bother trying…
If you still having issues & problems getting this to work, Go buy the game & download the update patch & drivers.. because following a few simple rules is obviously too much trouble & way too confusing for you…
