Try reading the .nfo moron. The instructions are very clear. Just run the .bat files and the work is done for you.

To mromaha:

The easiest program to fix "out of sync" problems is with AVIinfo. Its a small program that can adjust the framerate for the sound. Try it out.

When I run fix.bat I get this Erroe Message Window:

Nandub Error
Couldn't locate decompressor for format 'XVID'(unknown)

VirtualDub requires a Video for Windows (VFW ) compatible codec to decompress video. DirectShow codecs, such as those used by Windows Media Player, are not suitable.

Any Help PLEASE

Ok, I see I was obviously wrong with my assumption about the Mike's motivation for squeezing the screenshots into smaller image tags. Sorry.

But I want to reinforce my point about posting full-size (original-size) screenshots of videos.

I guess I mixed this site up with hypoh.c0m - there you have original-size screenshots squeezed into smaller image tags. There you can (with the Opera browser, and probably others too) right-click onto that squeezed image > open in another tab > and there you go.

To visualize how the movie of that quality would look full-screen, I then set Opera to full screen [F11], and then zoom the page (= the image) using the numpad's [+] key. This is very helpful in deciding if a download is worth it.

@Steve (January 5th, 2007, 09:05):

> I love all the pics you include, but could you please
> upload them in the size they display on the site?
> In-browser image scaling is just plain ugly.

Dear Steve, better get a better browser (or learn to better use the one that you have).

In Opera 9 (free) I open the image in another Tab (right-click the squeezed image > copy image adress > open new tab > paste image's adress > hit ENTER key); then you'll see the image at 100% its pixel size.

Downscaling screenshots defeats their purpose - screenshots are used for judging the video quality. This is only possible if the screenshot gets published in the original video size (e.g. 624px * 304px).

I hope Mike / Martin refrain from downscaling the screenshots - how could we then check the video's picture quality?

I suppose Mike / Martin put the screenshots into smaller (xhtml-) image tags, because rlslogs nice page layout has a fixed width. The width of the actual content column is less than 600px. Therefore it is necessary to squeeze the screenshots into narrower-sized image tags, if we want to get full-size screeshots.

btw: Thank you all for this very useful site!
