P2P group FHW with a decent looking animation movie which is an adaption of the DC comics of The Green Lantern. Green Lantern: First Flight, is the fifth entry in the popular DVD series based on the DC Universe comics. This animated movie traces the origins of test pilot Hal Jordan and how he came to be Green Lantern.

When pilot Hal Jordan accepts a mysterious, powerful ring from a dying alien creature, it transforms him into a Green Lantern – one of an elite force of heroes. These heroes patrol the universe to ensure peace and justice under the leadership of the Guardians of the Universe. Unsure of their newest recruit, the Guardians assign Hal to their most-honored Green Lantern Sinestro for training, unaware that Sinestro wants to overthrow the Guardians and create a new order he’ll control. It’s a battle of might and willpower as Hall must prove his worth by defeating Sinestro to save the Green Lantern Corps.

    The first Green Lantern was Hal Jordan a white guy. In the cartoon they must have wanted to put in some ethnicity so used one of the later Green Lanterns John Stewart who was black.

    And, speaking of those other movies, Wonder Woman was pretty awesome, mostly thanks to the fact that Nathan Fillion is in it. :D

    To answer everyones questions (well, those asking). The Green Lantern was origonally a white guy, Hal Jordon. The black guy you see in JLA is John Stewart. John Stewart is concidered the inferior Green Lantern creation from DC to the much prefered Hal. Not a colour thing but because of back story, history and the fact John doesn't seem to have a weakness. Hals weakness along with other Green Lanterns was always the color yellow. Removing key points of characters never goes down well. DC listening to the fans have made this movie about Hal and the upcoming real action movie will also be about Hal. John Stewart should be deleted from the archives (in my opinion)
