Another pretty amazing movie available in decent quality is Scanner Darkly, animated thriller with voice of Keanu Reeves and pretty amazing story. The quality is perfect, dvdrip like video and clean audio as well. Dvdrip will be probably available pretty soon too, but you can’t make any bad by download this copy…
The L.A. of a not-too-distant future suffers a surge of drug abuse involving a new ultra-addictive and eventually brain-damaging substance simply named “D”. Bob Arctor is an undercover narc leading a double life, dutifully reporting to his superiors while effectively having abandoned whatever normal existence he had for a “D” user/dealer career. But this schizophrenic situation and the drug-induced memory and concentration lapses put Bob under mounting stress.

Actually it’s not just voiced by Keanu Reeves but the whole movie was shot with the real actors and later turned into cartoon-style with some filters, like in Waking Life. It looks amazing I think and if you are looking for a good, slightly psychedelic movie this one and Waking Life as well are good recommendations!
not filters, it was hand drawn over the top of the film frames, hence the look of it, not just running the video through some crap filter.

I loved this movie, best of the year. There’s b&w scenes in this screener though.
Yeah I read about the whole rotoscoping thing in Wired. Not only does this have B&W scenes, there is also text overlays like every 5 minutes. It’s annoying as sh!t.
Alex Jones got another cameo!!
Best quality you can get without it being a DVD rip, though.
