Gray Matters LIMITED DVDSCR XviD-ViTE

A really oldschool group ViTE released a nice dvd screener today. Gray Matters is a limited comedy with certain romantic moments, which isn’t too known but it deserves some attention. It is a classic festival film with almost independent production and not too known actors, but this doesn’t have to mean it’s bad of course, it’s actually little above festival standards. The sample doesn’t contain any watermarks or text on the video, there’s only small blurred logo which is hard to see anyway.

They finish each other’s sentences, dance like Fred and Ginger, and share the same downtown loft–the perfect couple? Not exactly. Gray and Sam (Heather Graham and Tom Cavanagh), are a sister and brother so compatible and inseparable that people actually assume they are dating. Mortified, they both agree they must branch out and start searching for love. He’ll look for a guy for her and she’ll look for a gal for him. But when Sam finds his perfect mate in Charlie (Bridget Moynahan) Gray’s life turns inside out.

Seems like a nice movie. The actors are not celebrities but you do get that feeling of “Where have I seen him/her before?” and immediately start checking out IMDB. Heather Graham was so hot in her 70s outfit in Austin Powers :)

Tom Cavanagh is the guy from ed.. he’s also been in a few eps of scrubs as JD’s brother. Great actor with a fast mouth! And Heather Graham is hot as hell… I have a good feeling about this one! Thanks for the post!

    Peace!

Rachel Shelley’s in this film as well, which means the hotness meter went up like 10 times over.

It has 10 or 15 second regular intervals where the scene turns black & white. I do not think that that is a feature built into the movie.

The blurred, semi-transparent watermark and repetitive screener warning is distracting.

It was a decent movie. Hopefully someone will post a non-screener version soon.

Basic screener stuff in it. Warning titles now and then and, as mentioned, black and white intervals for 30 seconds or so.

Yup, there is definitely black & white moments as well as a watermark every once in a while.

Not that bad if you don’t mind it.

I actually really enjoyed it! The story is pretty weird but really entertaining! And there are a bunch of really good actors!

I kept hearing the “I am INVICIBLE!” quote from Alan Cumming in Goldeneye though :P
