Grand Theft Auto IV v1.0.2.0 Update RazorDOX

Its RazorDOX with the new update for Grand Theft Auto IV.

The most anticipated game ever, Grand Theft Auto IV will revolutionize gaming. You play as Niko Bellic, an Eastern European immigrant to Liberty City with a murky, violent past. Hoping to start a new life in a new country, Niko arrives on the docks and is met by his cousin, Roman. Roman’s promises of ready wealth and easy women turn out to be exaggerations and Niko must quickly adjust to a hard life. But this is America, and Niko wants his slice of the American dream. With perseverance and hard work, he just might grab it.

Based on several of the boroughs of New York City and parts of New Jersey, Liberty City, familiar to players of previous games in the series, has been entirely redesigned for GTA IV. Players can expect visible detail down to the weeds growing in the cracks in the sidewalk, cars and buildings of visibly different ages and a much greater level if verticality in the buildings and bridges that they are able to explore as Niko moves through the city streets. In addition, pedestrians in GTA IV are much more realistic. No longer simply moving cardboard cutouts, these NPCs are intelligent, modern, human representations that laugh, cry, eat, drink, use cell phones and ATMs, and talking amongst themselves regardless of Niko’s interaction with them.

    RS link …

    http://ws-linker.info/1956

Make sure you have the original GTAIV.exe in your game folder when applying the 1.0.2.0 patch. After patching, copy the loader (which includes both the dll file and the gtaloader.exe) into the game directory. Run it as you would directly from start menu/desktop shortcut. It should load up Rockstar social club, click on the giant PLAY button, ignore the "you're not signed on" message, and play.

Do NOT go copying around with any other cracks/cracked exe's (Fed0rs, etc) and just play through the loader as you did with the initial razor1911 release.

so, is this patch for xbox or pc?

Either way, ill stick with this game for xbox.

Better graphics, better resolution and effects, just looks so much better than PC or PS3 in general, and you can use a controller. Who wants to play GTA hunched over a computer monitor? Not me thats for sure.
Xbox is still the best option when it comes to this game.

you sir, are completely wrong. It plays in 1080HD this is a known fact. Also, there settings run at 100%, not the minimal numbers you just posted, because it was designed for xbox. Not like a PC where you have to tweak settings to get it to work, on xbox you just pop it in and it just plays at its full capability. Same with PS3. you cant seriously compare the graphics and say PC is better, in any way at all. It doesnt even have the gaming processors which consoles have and from the screenshots ive seen it looks absolutely horrendous: http://img201.imageshack.us/img201/7297/gta10hj8.jpg

You are an idiot sir! Console graphics are years behind the PC! and always will be.

Yes there have been a few problems with the PC version of the game, but thats down to sloppy coding.

  44. PC ROCKS
    January 30th, 2009 | 22:32

    You sir, are mistaken…
    Taken from http://www.rockstargames.com/support/gta4pc/docs/GTAIV%20Graphics%20Settings.doc
    So it's official:

"Render Quality – Affects GPU performance. [...] Medium settings are recommended for most users and will provide filtering beyond what the console versions can execute." – we get high settings

"View Distance – Affects CPU and GPU performance, video memory and system memory. [...] A setting of 22 or more will provide PC users an enhanced experience over the console versions." – goes up to 100

"Detail Distance – Affects CPU and GPU performance. [...] A setting of 10 would be the equivalent to the performance on a console." – we get up to 100

"Shadow Density – Affects CPU and GPU performance. [...] These shadows are exclusive to the PC version" – We get exclusive shadows o.O

    Then… You said:
"Also, there settings run at 100%, not the minimal numbers you just posted, because it was designed for xbox."
Well, it was designed for the xbox, but the xbox does not have unlimitted power, so they simply can't run it at max quality

"Not like a PC where you have to tweak settings to get it to work, on xbox you just pop it in and it just plays at its full capability."
There's only one hardware-setup for the xbox, for the pc there are many, many people have great GPUs and can run this game all max (like me!) and get graphics that surpass that of the consoles completely.. The tweaking is also good because if you were not to care much about shadows for example, you could lower them and raise something else.

"It doesnt even have the gaming processors which consoles have"
Uhhh… A processor is a processor, nothing different with consoles… Only dif. is the Xbox has a 3-core (3.2Ghz each) and the PS3 a 7-core (also 3.2Ghz each) processor, but hey I have a quad-core at 3.2Ghz each too, and the game doesnt need that good a processor… I've ran it with 1.8Ghz dual-core at max, you just need a good GPU…

"from the screenshots ive seen it looks absolutely horrendous"
Those people probably had the stupid "blur" setting activated, but since you can deactivate it everything's fine… Or/and they had a weaker, cheaper computer and sacrificed some quality… But if you have a decent computer you won't need to.

So please, read up on facts before commenting… Of course, if you were planning to buy an awesome 1000$ computer just for GTA4, I'd go for a 399$ console like the PS3 or the Xbox at about 100$ less (but with 4 less cores as the main difference – not talking about the online service and games available) but if you already have a good computer for other games (ex. Crysis) you can just buy (or borrow) for the PC and enjoy an even better experience… And with the extra video editor to sweeten the deal, it's the best choice.

Actually the PC specs vs console specs are true, the console uses tricks to run as smooth as it does and you can tell the actual detail level is lower, the console does force 2xAA which is impossible on the PC, it helps with smoothness a ton, however, the console specs are indeed much lower

Those specs are 100% accurate for consoles, straight from R*

Don't be fooled by your tv/console when it reports the resolution of 1080p playing gta, it does not run 1080p natively, it might just upconvert to that res or worse spread 720p across 1080p, on top of all that if any of you are unlucky enoughto on the ps3 port, it doesnt even run at full 720p natively.

I'm pretty sure everyone educated already knows this or knows it to be true and understands it, but just in case some of you console fanboys still like to moan try running a game at 1200p-1600p, us enthusiast gamers been doing that for years so stfu and enjoy your handful of native 1080p games

Ok so most people are arguing about PC vs. console, i'll post a useful comment. This is the update procedure that worked for me, im not sure if u need the 1.01 but I did it in this order and it works.

    To update:

    1) Make sure the original gta iv files are in the game system folder (C:\Program Files\Rockstar Games\Grand Theft Auto IV).

    2) Install the 1.01 update (do not crack yet), then the 1.02 update.

    3) After you have completed this use the crack files in 1.02 update folder (razor 1911) to replace the original files in the game system folder.

    4) Now run as you would by skipping the login for rockstar social club and hitting play.

yes the normal patch works fine with fedor untill you get to the mission (the first liberty paper one) where you have to access a computer….. guess what rockstar have put a anti-piracy glitch in there so you cannot proceed. therefor you need this cracked patch to play.

anyway i'm off to morrisons in a bit. im supporting this game

Ok, you talk about something you don't know,
Xbox 360 has triple core CPU 3,2ghz with only 512kb of L2 cache (slower than E6750 CPU for PC) also it has only 512MB of RAM, and miserable ATI graphics with 500Mhz GPU clock. So Xbox 360 IS a weaker than modern PC, that is the fact.
Same thing goes for PS3, only PS3 GPU works on 550Mhz.
Problem with GTA 4 is that its lousy console port, which don't use GPU, instead it uses CPU to do all work, so that means that any GPU in PC just sits there doing nothing when you play GTA 4 while CPU does all work even graphic work that it isn't designed to do.
So GTA 4 on PC works like its run through Xbox/PS3 emulation software (emulation software uses only CPU).
Gta 4 is lousy console port, while you can take a look at Mass Effect, game that is completely redone for PC and guess what, its much better on PC than its on Xbox.
And one more thing on PC you can emulate Xbox and PS because hardware on PC is much better than those in consoles (only lacks emulation software, which is because of companies protecting consoles, which is uderstandable as their main goal is profit). But you can't emulate PC games on console and that is a fact.
In your case I will have to quote Monthy Python :"You sir are an idiot…"
You don't know a thing about hardware in consoles but you still bragging about how strong its hardware is.

i don't have that problem, but i saw that my friend have same problem as you. I don't know what make it to stuck, maybe it could be caused by CPU as i have Intel and it works and my friend have AMD and have problems with phone answering. or it could be caused by gremlins… they shouldn't be excluded when computers are at stake.

WELL HOLY BALLS OF STEEL…speaking of the Fedora cheat, right now I am wearing a Fedora hat, makes me look pimp.

Anyway, the Fedora crack does not fix the internet cafe access bug, so you're all best to go with the Razor1911 Crack.

Thanks Razorz…cwy sum morz? <—–TF2 Heavy
