Okay, if anyone here could make me a game as big as the GTA games with all the possibilities and with this kind of graphics. I’d like to shake that persons hand full of SHIT!

Because the answer is you couldn’t, so don’t complain about something that isn’t released yet, and a game that you haven’t played!!! Sure San Andreas was a bit of a drag since it was pretty much the same as the two older ones.

This game how ever features new moves and new possibilities and they top if off with new graphics for such a big world, that’s impressive. So give the guys that worked on this game a break huh? FARRIES!?!

All I want is realistic car physics. If I have a head on with a bus at 160mph, my car should crumple like tissue paper and my body parts should be peppering the ruin, it shouldn’t simply bounce off the bus with only slight damage.

@rob…..well you are the idiot if you actually think halo 3 and rugby 07 are even equal to GTA 4.

As far as people arguing over the name of the city? It does have NYC landmarks, but it is called Liberty City.

Frankly I could care LESS if they called it “the lost city of GTA”! It will STILL be one of the best games of 2007.

Well, I’m not arguing about the New York – Liberty City thing, it’s quite obvious (if not, of course the russian guy is going FROM Liberty City TO another country/city that they didn’t show in the trailer, but that’s a longshot)

They had 1 real name city ; GTA: LONDON 1969
Which was an “addon” to the original GTA back in the day (for those of you who didn’t know that), and I’m glad that this game one is NOT based on a country where you drive on the left side of the road, maybe the next GTA is based in Europe, but it was a fucking pain in the ass to drive on the left side

Don’t forget the LCPD. Most people missed the cop car when the camera is zooming/zipping away on normal eye level. You can clearly see LCPD. Not NYPD. And LCDP most likely stands for Liberty City Police Department. There are about 5 references to Liberty City in the trailer.

The city may be modeled after NY, but we all know how using a existing city’s name creates a lot of controversy for some games. And at the same time, they use a name thats already known to the old GTA players.

@John: That makes no sense. That’s like someone traveling from Vice City to Miami, or from Los Santos to LA, or Las Venturas to Las Vegas. GTA features fictional cities based on their real life counterparts. How hard is that to get through people’s thick skulls..

There is alot of people saying its not liberty city and its newyork….

Well it is fukin obviously Liberty City.. (the train says liberty , the liberteen, shop says liberty tree or something and under that you can see liberty city, and on the boat it says liberty city (and no its not from somewher else thats just stupid)….

But yes liberty city is based on newyork so when people say “its not liberty city, its new york” they are being plain stupid…..
