Yes, the thing everybody has been waiting for! GTA IV for PC. CLONEs (GRAND THEFT AUTO 4 CLONEDVD READNFO-ePEN15) have been online for a few days now, and here we have the scene version. Let’s hope it’s not P2P stolen or whatsoever. And if it gets nuked, this is definitely the best version to get. While you’re downloading this one, you can get in the mood by downloading the Soundtrack(below). I’m actually buying this one! I hope you guys do too, see you in multiplayer then;).     How long before people starting trying stuff with the cheatengine to stop those… issues :)

    Guessing it’s like mass effect were random crap happened. This is going to be nasty to crack then :D .

    Oh, and how can people say this does not save you cant even get to the safehouse the game stops rendering new areas just after the camera starts shaking and you need to be in the safehouse to save.

    There is a working crack..game is running..
    But there is a 1 problem..there is a fade protection..with ingame triggers..

    -Camera shaking
    -Car accelerating by it self
    -And some more triggers…

    That all bugs are just ”new” sort of protection..

    Thats why Reloaded did 2time released and pull back their rls.. and still no proper version…

    When they find out how not to trigger those in-game traps..proper will be out..till then be chilled..

    Hmmm, i’ve done the best i’ve could…
    Can’t fix the easter eggs:

    -Camera shaking
    -Car accelerating
    -Extreme CPU usage
    -Crappy graphics

    Waiting for a proper too, maybe what i managed to do can help big shot scene names to crack it faster, i doubt it…

    Untill then, you still have my crack:

    No need to disconnect from internet or anything just overwrite the files.
    You will get all the above ”easter eggs” it’s not my fault, i can’t fix them, sorry :

    LOL The delay for release on pc was probably just so they could make their money for PS3 or other console releases, the bugs are probably due to the difficult protection and online registration, and I bet we can get over 2000 comments come on peeps, LOL…

    at some wierd resolution like 1700x??? highest it will let me go step down below 1920×1080. it wont let me pick that for some reason. medium textures, high render quality, all draw distrances around 25-30 i get 33fps. lowering anything only lowerd my frame rate. my specs intel c2d 2.66ghz clocked at 3.2ghz. 4gb corsair ram running at 1066mhz. asus p5k deluxe motherboard, bfg geforce 8800gt superclocked. it overall ran very well and looked much better then the xbox 360 i beat it the first go around on. all in all it was enough to make me want to go buy it. hope the real version or a soon patch will get me to 60fps. but they are saying the crack uses very high cpu usage so im hoping that alone will help me. thought id share my results. everyone was saying how horrible the game ran i was getting nervous but i dont think thats the case.

    Don’t know about the others but the crack posted on 1306 works fine with no shake cam (played 30 mins). Now we just need to save our game…. and buy a new PC :p

    Issue with NOT ABLE TO SAVE: Create a offline Windows Live Account you clown.

    Issue with Camera and Car: Quit the Game, wait a few seconds and start it again. Tadaa, camera issues gone. Clowns…

    XP = need SP3
    Vista + XP = You need to install Social Club and run an Offline Account,same as Vista.

    I have a big graphic issue.
    Iv’e handled the bugs quite well I think, but when it comes to graphics it sucks ass. It’s all blurry and it’s looks like there no compatibality at all, or isn’t there? could it be the crack? what?

    Ok guys, if you still have the shanking camera problem try doing next :

    1) Run GTA through LaunchGTAIV.exe
    2) Start Rockstar Social Club in offline mode.
    3) As soon as the game loads alt+tab back to Windows.
    4) Press Ctrl+Alt+Del to call Task Manager and kill RSSC.exe and GTA4browser.exe processes.
    5) ???????
    6) PROFIT!

    I guess there is some CRC checksum everywhere and if they detect change so they trigger some bugs in the game.
    It’s a very old trick.

    I got the game running with the shaking camera, but is the bad graphics and framerate part of the copy protection, I was going to buy the game until I saw how badly it run on my PC, 2.6 Opteron 7900 SLI

    All who have shakin cam, and whatever other effects, with the game, block all gta4 related programs on firewall, then it will not happen (skip logon to rssc, and have an offline live account.. thats it)

    Yeah @1433 seems to work. I don’t remember what i did yesterday (no Ingame Protection recognized the whole afternoon), but maybe i was offline.

    @1434 just register with live account ingame. There will be an option: Use only offline account. You may save with this account! = It’s the same with Unreal Tounament 3.

    Okay, after trying everything, and about to buy a copy, I have it now working.

    I use windows vista 64, and ran the game in windows 2000 compatibility and it works fine. You also need to block any refernces to GTA IV in your firewall.
    Also I renamed GTAIVGDF.dll to GTAIVGDF1.dll

    This really works!!!
    Textures/Performance problem fixed, just overwrite everything in main directory and copy paul.dll to Offlineregistration dir.
    If you get drunk camera problem just change resolution and restart the game works perfectly. Trust me on this one IT REALLY WORKS!
