Grand Theft Auto Chinatown Wars EUR REPACK NDS-XPA

We don’t have many games here available for Nintendo DS. Here is the latest game from the GTA series specially made for NDS. I personally don’t have a DS so  i wouldn’t know how to play it, but i heard there are emulators for PC which can play these games on PC. Official Nintendo Magazine described the game as “one of the largest, most complex DS games ever made”, with over 800,000 lines of code.

For more information about Emulators visit this site or view this video tutorial OR Click Here

Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars is an entirely original entry into the critically acclaimed Grand Theft Auto series, and brings a new level of interactivity to its sprawling open environments. With the use of the DS touchscreen, players will navigate their way through the streets as they uncover the truth behind an epic tale of crime and corruption within the Triad crime syndicate, delivering the unprecedented amount of depth that has become a true trademark of the franchise.

Unlike Grand Theft Auto IV, the player has the option to disable as many cop cars as possible to escape the police instead of leaving a “wanted zone.” The more stars the player has, the more Cops they will have to take out for each level. For example, for a six star level , they will have to take out 6 cop cars. For most of the driving and on-foot action, the touch screen is styled after a PDA interface. There is also a drug dealing minigame a la Drugwars, which allows players to peddle six types of drugs around the city. Players can make a profit by recognizing market conditions and demands based on geography and plying their wares accordingly. Shootable CCTV cameras work as this game’s secret packages which will also lower the drug prices when destroyed. The top screen shows the game, while the lower screen lets players control elements like the PDA, GPS, the radio (mostly instrumental along with regular music), access to the people on the map, or using Molotov cocktails and grenades. Chinatown Wars applies many Grand Theft Auto IV features such as the new next gen HUD and taxi whistling supported by DS microphone. Ammu-nation makes a return in a form of an in-game website where the player can order various weapons through their PDA, and Ammu-nation will deliver selected weapons to their safehouse.

works fine on No$gba, but screen size is to small, how do i make it bigger.

no$gba does ds also, name is slightly misleading

Problem with No$GBA is, even its latest version doesn't have proper savestate support and it requires an external small proggy to get 2x/3x/4x window size (NDS2xGL2, NGZoom), otherwise you're playing in a ridiculously small window; it is however very accurate as far as DS graphic emulation goes with OpenGL. For more on No$GBA, check http://forums.ngemu.com/no-gba-discussion/.

Other good NDS emulators to consider are iDeaS (1.0.3.0, http://www.ideasemu.org) and DeSMuMe (0.9.1, http://desmume.org).

You can use no$zoomer or no$zoom to make no$gba bigger/fullscreen.

    Biertap,

I downloaded a copy from Romulation. The first release had the same save file issue, but there's a new one up there now that seems to work okay.

I completed the main storyline yesterday :D now all the side stuff to do, aswell as finding those 2 lion things (?) :S

Hey guys, here's a patched version that will run on flashcarts, etc. Got it running on my R4 card with v1.18 firmware… apparently runs on other carts also.

Have to say, i am suprised by this game. I didn't think the DS was capable of something like this, don't get me wrong, i love my DS… but this game is just majorly beyond what you normally see on DS spec-wise.
