Another crack for Grand Theft Auto 4 (Lets hope its the last) has just been released by Wurstsuppe, this time its meant to be fully working ;) Just follow the instructions below and also follow the NOTES below if you still get shaky camera and it all should be fixed! (Hopefully!) Sorry, i havent downloaded the game to test it myself so let us know in comments if it works for you or not.

Update: GTA 4 REAL PROPER Crack ONLY-FCUKTHESCENE has been released also, so if the Wurstsuppe crack did not work for you, you might want to give this one a go.

NOTE: To solve the problem with the camera bug, turn down the resulution then restart the computer,and then it works, at least for 6 six friends of mine and me!

How to use:

1) Copy the paul.dll, gtaiv.exe and Launchgtaiv.exe in your mainfolder
2) Copy the paul.dll also in your “Offlineactivation”-Folder
3) Open gtaiv.exe and accept the rockstar Terms of Use.
4) Play the game

    Allright, I have played since 18:00 (Paris timezone) and have not encountered any problems anymore.

    I am happy the game runs on my system at all (settings all on low) and seeing that it does (although I can run San Andreas with better graphics…), I’m convinced so, I will buy this game tomorrow!

    I tweaked a lot to get in running, but this what I think I did:

    - I used the crack (the nuked one from FCUKTHESCENE, which is actually completely identical to the LOBO and WURSTSUPPE one). Replaced both exe-files and the dll one (in both the main as the offline activation folder).

    - At this point the game would “play”, but still suffer from the drunken effect and the self-accelerating car. So I tried running the game in Windows 2000 compatebility mode. Only worked for me when I did this for the LaunchGTA4.exe (which I believe triggers the securom protection).
    I don’t really know whether this really helped, cause the game still had the drunk thing. (in my final playable settings it’s still this way – test yourself whether you need it.)

    - Final step was simply disabling internet connection (I tried this first by editing Windows Firewall Exception list, but that didn’t work).

    And that’s basically it! Haven’t found other gamebreaking bugs (yet), but they are not really a problem anymore: tomorrow I’ll be a legal gamer once again (like you should too, when you really like a game)

    If you would’ve read my post, you would’ve seen I managed to play without the drunken camera mode!

    I only had to endure it once during 5 hours, when my character actually really was drunk (after a date with Michelle at an Irish restaurant).

    Oh and snails aren’t that bad…

    I’ve been checking these comments regularly as I’m chasing a working no-dvd for the game.
    However for all you legitimate owners out there who are tired of waiting and don’t mind having a 7+ gig image file residing on your HD, just play with a mounted image file.
    I made a backup of disc 1 with the latest Daemon Tools Pro (Securom profile), mounted the image running the latest YASU release with Securom cloaking activated and the game is running just fine.

    There is a translation made fast of the 595 .NFO crack, i think it might work:

    Welcome again!

    So, after a little fight with GTA4 i found files that allow you to play the game (these are mixed release’s of the cracks that you can find on the net).
    The cam is steady, the cars don’t get crazy – One word, EVERYTHING is OK… And if we can think, we can save too ;].

    Let’s go to the “action”:
    1.Copy the files over to directory with GTA IV and overwrite it(don’t forget to make a backup).
    2. Turn your net off or unplug the cable.
    3. Run LAUNCHGTAIV.ece
    4. The RGSC window will pop up – Choose to log in offline mode and in field with nick and pass type everything you want.
    5. The game will start up( if you have installed all necessary stuff like SP3 for XP, SP1 for Vista, right graphic drivers, updated DirectX and installed C++ library and of course Net. Framework ver. from 3.0 to 3.5 SP1)
    6. Now, start New Game, drive the car to the destination, go iside, watch the cutscene or skip it. After cutscene the Windows LIVE windows should pop up and you will have an option to save game. To do it you must register at Windows Live. You must find in it a option for offline profile. Register yourself and go back to game.
    7. If it asks for the activation, in field UNLOCK CODE type anything you want, and in serial type: UJEEK-ME33J-JDES3-GEW6X-F3NUV

    It’s confirmed 100% that everything is working! If some of the things in this are not exactly the same, you must find it – There is a chance that i didn’t remind correctly.

    The rest of the .NFO is practicaly about nothing besides greetings. But in the end, there is something like a motto…:

    This kinda reminds me of Half Life 2 and the “AI disabled” experience. I guess someone will fix it too, emulating the server to which the game connects or by disabling it piece by piece. If it’s connecting to R* all the time validating itself then it`s a bad.ss hog of a game. I`d use a crack on the original just to get rid of all that nonsense.

    Wow seriously, the game is unplayable due to cam shake and car acceleration, because you can’t do any missions (they all require a car).

    Yes guys, the Securom Bypass Launcher works

    you can save if you create a offline profile
    shaky/drunk cam is fixed
    cars on fire and acceleration fixed.
    performance is good but way from being great.

    but there is one flaw though *FATAL ERRORS*
    im not sure there is a fix for this as i think this is a game bug.

    ive tried all cracks ,doesnt work even the 27kb one , still doesnt solve the crashing problem at start during credits ( its not my windows i already played 1 hour of game with another crack before it bugs )
