Another crack for Grand Theft Auto 4 (Lets hope its the last) has just been released by Wurstsuppe, this time its meant to be fully working 
Just follow the instructions below and also follow the NOTES below if you still get shaky camera and it all should be fixed! (Hopefully!) Sorry, i havent downloaded the game to test it myself so let us know in comments if it works for you or not.
Update: GTA 4 REAL PROPER Crack ONLY-FCUKTHESCENE has been released also, so if the Wurstsuppe crack did not work for you, you might want to give this one a go.
NOTE: To solve the problem with the camera bug, turn down the resulution then restart the computer,and then it works, at least for 6 six friends of mine and me!

1) Copy the paul.dll, gtaiv.exe and Launchgtaiv.exe in your mainfolder
2) Copy the paul.dll also in your “Offlineactivation”-Folder

Yeah, there is one released by FCUKTHESCENE (apparently a P2P group) that came out after this one and says proper. I find it quite funny that while they dislike the scene, they put “proper” in their title, which is a scene rule, not a P2P rule. LMAO…but yeah, I think I might try that one. Not sure yet though.

Not entirely, some people are still having problems after using all these cracks that have been released, and others are not. Like, the “drunken cam” effect doesn’t ware off for some people, and that makes the game unplayable. Also, no one has really been able to finish the game completely yet, so who knows what other problems might pop up. I think the reason real scene groups like Reloaded, and Razor1911 aren’t releasing a crack yet is because they’re actually attempting to play the game first and correct any problems that come up. The cracks that have been released to date were probably never tested all the way to the end of the game which means if Rockstar added some other trigger further through the game, or after another 20-30 launches of the game, these cracks will all be useless. I’ve gotta think they’ve done more than add a “drunken cam” effect that wares off after starting the game off a second time for $200,000.

No f***ing sh**! Don’t you see that I put “IT ISNT A P2P RULE!”? I never said in my post that P2P has rules, I was stating that adding “proper” isn’t a P2P rule. I fail to see that by saying that I said that P2P has rules. I know P2P doesn’t have rules, that’s quite obvious. No matter what crack I use I always get the RESC10 error. I don’t even get to the menu. I know its something about Ran out of video memory, restart computer, but I’ve done that to no avail.

NO, does NOT work. Starts being ‘drunk’ after a minute and the accelerator is on permanently, so he drives into something and can’t do anything. Makes me feel woozey.

Ok i tried this one at first i got drunken cam and then i restarted changed resolution, and saved again now i have been playing for 46 min and no drunken cam and no burning cars.
I have restarted the game 7 times to try to see if drunk cam comes back but it still seems to be working… now someone needs to make a way to connect to a private server so we can all play together.
I also agree with other comments that some other form of protection might pop up half way through game but oh well at least it works now.
I think saving the game has alot to do with it , just make a new offline profile and you should be good to go.

listen people, don’t be cheap, just go out and buy the game. cracks/updates here and there will only give u headaches when u have a fake version. i usually don’t buy games either, but this is just one of those that are actually worth purchasing.
The files from WURSTSUPPE, FCUKTHESCENE and LOBO are all the same, (i compared the content with a program).
First to have the *original* gtaiv.exe in their archive, to make it *look* like its something else.
With all them, you get the drunken cam and cars are smoking right away, when you get in.

Err… dont know how to say… first i tried the LBO crack which killed the app by being on the main menu…
then I tried the fcukscene-crack… man… the intro is shaking my ass off… i think the app realized im trying to play the game with crack… its nonplayable because of that shaking… someone else got the same problem?
I get “SecuRom has stopped working” error in windows. I first tried the original 0×0008 crack which didn’t work for me either. I’m on Vista with an Intel Quad core with, 4 gigs of ram, and an over-clocked 512mb 8800gtsOC. I will try a fresh install and let ya know how if it works out.
@tarakan I would change it to low but I can’t even get to the menu, the game gets to the opening splash screen then crashes. I have 2x 8600GT w/ 256MB not the recommended, but the minimum.

the problem with this game is not only the dvd protection but also the triggers. None of the so called working crack until now fixes this. The resolution fix is not final and at some point will reappear and at some point you will get also corrupted saves. So the main problem is the triggers not the protection itself. To fix this you need time to play all the game side missions included and fix the triggers on the way. So wait for a proper fix from a reputed scene group or buy the damn game. If you try all kind of so called fixes you will only get frustrated with the game not working at some point or even worse infect yourself with some nasty virus.
OK… wurstwasser-crack crashes even at the beginning credits… so… no real crack out there yet -_-

I just did a fresh install of the game and tried again with the GTA 4 REAL PROPER Crack ONLY-FCUKTHESCENE from dot. I still get the “SecuROM Launcher has stopped working” error in Vista. I will buy this game if I have to but, if nobody cracks this PERFECTLY, we will see a lot more of this same protection in the future. By the way, who really thinks they spent only 200k on this? I bet there’s an extra mils worth of sold retail disks already because of this and coming up with such an important system is gonna cost a little more than the average Ferrari.

I’m contemplating about whether the actual game is worth being cracked. The protection is far to cumbersome and problems are bound to happen further down the track, even if it is cracked. At present based on the comments and reviews it runs like crap on high-end machines with alot of dropped frames and general glitches (this is with a high system too!). R* have already made a fortune with the previous GTA’s and as well as the current one on PS3 and Xbox360, greedy fcks. What’s worse is that they’ve locked it down in the highest possible way, whilst deflecting away from actually properly porting the game.

baddab: perhaps you can explain then what takes so long to crack a game that has been released a couple of days ago? I’m not even mentioning the fact that release groups get their hands on all the games several days prior to when they hit the shelves.
Btw, apparently release delay from November to December was connected with Rockstar forming this deal with scene groups.
It will be cracked, it will just take a lot of time. The good thing is theirs a LOT of other great PC games out right now. Im playing Fallout 3 i just finished Far Cry 2 and i still have Bond, Red Alert 3, Call of Duty World at War, Left 4 Dead and i think one other im forgetting. These games are all downloaded, waiting to be played.

well… it does have the same activation… and guess what? it has more than one protection…
AITD only needs the activation, and this one has securROM + activation…
you may want to try and open this thing up in ollyDBG and look up how the codes are pretty much very well encrypted.
so that is why i think that the crackers are having a hard time on this one. as someone here said, the scene groups are going for quality…
This whole thing could be completely solved for offline use with a key generator(easier said than done, not that I would know), and to Niko, NO that does not even come close to sounding plausible! If Rock* knew where to mail the check, they would send the police or contact people from their government first. Why would they not just crack it anyway?(that would be a great story though!)?

well… the crazy framerate is caused by rockstar’s super ultimate so called multi protection… those triggers that fcks the game up when cracked is eating a bunch of CPU power… if only someone can totally remove those protection functions from the exe itself, then the game will run more smoothly… but removing it will mean coding the exe from scratch w/c is crazy.
i don’t get it. why the hell do people post RS links. its not like anybody is clicking them. just stop it. it might work one time but this many times, come on!

I also had a crash problem, to solve it, I put my sreen resolution down to 800*600…I run the game and it didn’t crash…then a configure the game with my native resolution…now i’m 1920*1200 on desktop and in the game and it crash sometimes but when I try again it works…

how long it takes to crack a game or software is not somekind law of nature. rockstar has chosen a complex copy protection, which takes longer to crack or go around, but the price they pay for it is high, just check all the computer games news sites and forums, and the majority of people are not only angry cause of the long and annoying installation process, they have big issues getting the game to start, not to crash, let alone run fluently. if you compare that to the reviews of the game prior to the release, you will see there is barely mentioning any those issues, cause they obviously have to do with the copy protection, which is so good, that it doesnt only keep out copy pirates, but also paying customers. well done rockstar. at least you cant say pirates ruin pc games sells anymore, its the software companies themselves.
buy this game!!! imo it’s the only game that’s worthy of our money… for me it’s the only game (except wow when i play on retail servers) that i buy every time a sequel comes out (i did this with gta3, vice city, san andreas and of course gta4)…

Guys, I hope you’re right and scene groups are working hard to bring us all a fully functional crack. Despite the fact I wouldn’t completely rule out the possibility that scene groups have their reasons to delay the release (be that for the money or threats of legal pursuit or for whatever reason). Again, I’m hoping – just like you all do – that we all get to see a proper crack from a well respected scene group ASAP!

Until you can save the game, which seems impossible due to requiring use of Windows Live to do that, the game can never be fully cracked. I don’t understand why you would want to start from the beginning everytime you played this game. That said I have a semi decent rig and even at low res the framerate is terrible.

The game as not been cracked yet the only way to get the game to currently run is with the steam .exe which is what all the so called cracks use, because this does not require a disk to run, but this then triggers the security that is still present in the .exe when the files we have on are pc are missing the security that is in place in the steam version of the game. hence drunk screen messed up control. So till the security checks are removed from the .exe file it has not been cracked, And with the sistem they have used as was alone in the dark it is not a simple question of removing one check there are many within the game itself that need sorting so dont exspect anything soon for it.

1) Go to “Add and Remove Programs” and scroll down to the N section. Uninstall all Nvidia drivers (there were two of them on mine. One was “nvidia display driver” and the other was “nvidia performance driver”, both of them I had recently installed trying to fix this problem). Make sure they are uninstalled.
2) Download and install driver sweeper: http://www.guru3d.com/category/driversweeper/
3) THIS STEP IS THE MOST IMPORTANT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! (all the !! marks are because I’m excited this works). You need to restart your computer in SAFE MODE. This doesn’t work unless you restart your computer *** in SAFE MODE ***. Usually you do this by pressing F8 when it tells you to about 10-30seconds after you first push the power button to start up your computer.
(After you are logged onto safe mode, it may say “you need to restart to blah de blah de blah about new hardware.” Tell it no, you don’t have to restart.
4) Now that you are in safe mode and logged onto windows normally, run Driver cleaner. Search for ATI display drivers and Nvidia display drivers. Then hit the “Clean” button. Now close the program and reopen it, and double-check the same steps. Search for ATI and nvidia display drivers, and make sure that none are found. When this is done, restart your computer back into regular XP.
5) After I rebooted into normal mode, I ran driver sweeper a third time just to make sure. It found NO files for ati and nvidia display drivers.
6) Now I installed 180.60 (not 180.70.) Other people installed 180.48 and got it working, others isntalled 180.70 and got it working. Mine worked fine with 180.60. I assume the version of driver you use doesn’t matter, so try with whatever you can find for your version of windows.
7) Restart after you have installed the drivers.

Good thing i didn’t buy this game, I need a better PC for this monster, it wont even let me play at 1024×768, it runs ok i guess but got some strange bugs (guess from the crack) either way ima wait for better things to turn up, can’t believe a GTA game to require such huge PC performance, I even played Crysis warhead and the most recent games at 1024×768 high settings, Maybe its just a crappy Port to PC, THx Rockstar i think u just lost the PC gamers and don’t forget A good looking game ain’t a good game, Meh I even think they did some colab with NVIDIA/ATI and Intel/AMD to force us to buy new Products….

Just go buy the game. It will NEVER be successfully cracked. Unless you are too poor to be able to afford the game, then I truely feel sorry for you. The game is worth the purchase. The best game of the decade. Period. The game if PERFECT in every sence of the word.

I fixed the drunk camera thing and actually played a little …even saved 2 times. Here’s some feedback for you guys;
I downloaded GRAND_THEFT_AUTO_4_CLONEDVD_READNFO-ePEN15, installed it and used GTA.4.REAL.PROPER.Crack.ONLY-FCUKTHESCENE just like it said in how to file.
During the first mission I got wobbly screen and constant car acceleration so I exited the game and deleted GTAIVGDF.dll file as someone suggested. As I reentered the game I was able to play normally, created an offline windows live account and managed to save my game. Been playing for over an hour with no crahes or wobbly screens. Perfectly normal.
Btw I’m running Windows XP SP3. Sorry for poor English and hopefully this information will help you guys.

i’m running one of older cracks and it works fine no camera or car bugs but when i’m playing bowling in First Date mission it always fall to BSOD and restars computer. No one of these cracs are working to me. (vista sp1 x64)

Instead of all the banter about which cracks work and which dont, how about those that do have it working give us some feedback as to how well it runs on their system, giving as much detail as possible.
Just steal the game from gamestop, have a friend ask the workers a bunch of confusing questions, then while they are distracted run behind the counter and grab a few copies. This is what we did and it works fine.
Make sure there are only like 2 people working though so when you run out the door they cant chase you becasuse they are not allowed to leave the store empty.

I’ve tried all of the Cracks that have come out so far. NONE of them work correctly. You get wobble camera with all of them. Sometimes it takes a bit for wobble to come up, but it will. Do NOT believe anything to the contrary.
Well I guess I will go to bed and hope it comes out someday. I’m not even excited about the game anymore after seeing what even paying customers go through, while I can play my free copy of Farcry at maxed out settings at 1080p with much better graphics than GTA IV at maxed settings (if that were possible).

I so agree with you! I was ready to buy PS4 or 360 just because of GTA4. One of my friend bought GTA and give me 360 and GTA for week to home for testing. I was extremly disapointed, it just was not playable… Moving was just terrible, I play quite lot FPS games, but GTA person moving was just too weird. For some reason ‘head’/'body’ movement was just terrible.
Now when I heared that there is PC version coming out, I was thrilled… But I just tested it with this crap “crack”, and you guess… As terrible as in 360, maybe even little worse.
Now I just don’t know what to do… Maybe I go back to play Fallout 3 … Only problem with Fallout is that I don’t have enought free time in real world

Guys, stop trying to trick the wobbly cam with all those shamanic attempts of deleting files, setting compatibility properties, etc: it won’t help. It’s obviously a copy protection trigger and has nothing to do with game features / bugs (you won’t find a single wobbly cam thread on official game forums!). In other words, if not now sooner or later this glitch will surface, no matter how hard you try to trick it using current non-working cracks. With that said, let’s all pray and hope that Reloaded & co. haven’t forgotten about us mortals
to fix shaky cam you need to delete or move GTAIVGDF.dll to another folder and also unplug disable any internet (lan or wifi) it works for me hope it does for you
remember to close RGSC after you closed your connetion or else it wont work, then run the Launcher and it’ll reopen RGSC then select skip and play

I’ve tried dealing with GTAIVGDF.dll, blocking access to the internet, using a couple different cracks, restarting the game, and setting compatibility to Windows 2000. It doesn’t work for me, and while that’s hardly convincing in general, I can say that I feel certain none of these efforts deal with a more fundamental problem.

All the other cracks worked to. You just had to save after the “how to use a hot-dog stand” cutscene, then restart the game. Been playing all day. Graphics are buggy ass hell, but that’s to be expected with a 1.0 Rockstar game. Especially a piece of code so riddled with DRM as this.

To this crack work, without the woobly camera…etc..
you need to follow this steps:
1. Install the game, and everything ( windows live…rockstar social Club.. etc.. )
2. When the installation done, he ask you about the release date, etc.. so its important install
the game offline to skip that steps… then after skip that, probably you will need to update
the windows live, so do it…
3. Then dont run the game, just copy this files to the game folder and run the GTAIV.exe …
this time with the computer online, the game will launch and the screen of Rockstar Social club will appear, so
dont use any login, just skip login on Rockstar Social Club, and next start the game on the SocialClub menu…
after start, loading rockstar logos..etc… go to exit…
then go to Windows Firewall ( or what firewall u use it.. but its important have this enable )
and on the list of allowed programs, uncheck the Grand Theft Auto and The Rockstar Social Club.. ( Unckeck the names.. dont Delete it… )
Now, go to the Game Folder, and run the GTAIV.exe… and .. VOI LA… game fixed and running fine…

This is the whole story what I did:

3. unplugged the net

After this point the game runnig smoothly. I played about a hour without any problems (still disconected from network)

The shaky “drunk” cam problem was fixed for me by making SURE all of the game exe’s (including Social Club) had exception entries in the firewall but were NOT checked. Usually started after a couple of minutes – just played for 30 minutes no problems. Hope this helps.

How can any crack for this be nuked? The PoS is so buggy nobody will have a clue if it’s the crack that’s bad or just more crap coding from Rockstar.
I was gonna buy it but am now glad I waited and hoped for early scene release – Friends who did buy it have convinced me not to bother with either. WARNINNG, I heard that this game sends rockstar your information if you are using a cracked copy, and if they verify it is counterfiet, they send your info to the FBI.
Two of my friends already got warnings from their ISP’s that counterfeit software was on thier computer, and that rockstar would be taking legal action if it wasnt removed and that they will be able to see if its removed becaause even cracked copies have monitoring software, you cant get rid of it either because its part of the game.
Once rockstar scanned his PC he also got a warning from the MPAA for movies he had on his HD.
So BEWARE about installing this malware known as GTA.

The game CAN and WILL be cracked, it’s only a matter of time. Every game gets cracked sooner or later. Even if it has “the toughest protection in the world” and even if devs claim that it cannot be cracked.
Old Starforce 3 probably still holds the record as being the protection which took more than a year to crack, but most protections don’t last longer than a month and some even get cracked before game release.
I don’t think Securom in GTA4 will take longer than a month to crack. After all these protections are designed to prevent piracy just for a few months to make sure the game sells well. I don’t think anyone expects them to last forever.
Let’s just wait for the proper scene crack with all the trigger crap fixed.

even tho your opinion means nothing, I can attest to the fact that it works fine if you lower all the settings. even at mid settings it still has better performance than on the console, I would know as I own it for ps3 and the draw distances and framerates are horrible on that console. on med settings it blows away ps3 looks and performance, and this is with a c2q 2.4, 8800GTS 640mb, and 4 GB ram.

I dunno, i did read somewhere a few months ago on a net security blog that rockstar/sony patented and was was implementing a new security method that records the IP of anyone with a cracked game, and then saves a ghost copy of your entire HD to prove it was you when they take you to court.
I wouldn’t be surprised at all at rockstar doing something like this to protect their investment.

Cleaning out all the triggers(and testing) will take time but the scene group which cracks the game will get all the respect and fame so i bet theyre racing with time to get a crack ready right now.

Uh, one more thing. They will obviously crack it. Just the matter of time. It can’t be cracked only in one case – One time pad cryptic method with proper generation, but if u know why, it will never be in games…

You can either use The STON3D crack with darkcoders paul.dll OR FCUKTHESCENEs crack! When you get the shaky camera, enter teh display options, change the resolution and it will work until you start the game up next time.
Repeat as necessary.

Sounds like most of these cracks work if you just unplug from the internet. Sounds like the issue is the software calling home and reporting an illegal game, similar to what Adobe does with their software. A good firewall could block it or otherwise you’d have to edit your your C:\Windows\System32\drivers\etc\hosts file with the correct URL.

Allright, I have played since 18:00 (Paris timezone) and have not encountered any problems anymore.
I am happy the game runs on my system at all (settings all on low) and seeing that it does (although I can run San Andreas with better graphics…), I’m convinced so, I will buy this game tomorrow!
I tweaked a lot to get in running, but this what I think I did:
- I used the crack (the nuked one from FCUKTHESCENE, which is actually completely identical to the LOBO and WURSTSUPPE one). Replaced both exe-files and the dll one (in both the main as the offline activation folder).
- At this point the game would “play”, but still suffer from the drunken effect and the self-accelerating car. So I tried running the game in Windows 2000 compatebility mode. Only worked for me when I did this for the LaunchGTA4.exe (which I believe triggers the securom protection).
I don’t really know whether this really helped, cause the game still had the drunk thing. (in my final playable settings it’s still this way – test yourself whether you need it.)
- Final step was simply disabling internet connection (I tried this first by editing Windows Firewall Exception list, but that didn’t work).
And that’s basically it! Haven’t found other gamebreaking bugs (yet), but they are not really a problem anymore: tomorrow I’ll be a legal gamer once again (like you should too, when you really like a game)

However for all you legitimate owners out there who are tired of waiting and don’t mind having a 7+ gig image file residing on your HD, just play with a mounted image file.
I made a backup of disc 1 with the latest Daemon Tools Pro (Securom profile), mounted the image running the latest YASU release with Securom cloaking activated and the game is running just fine.

So, after a little fight with GTA4 i found files that allow you to play the game (these are mixed release’s of the cracks that you can find on the net).
The cam is steady, the cars don’t get crazy – One word, EVERYTHING is OK… And if we can think, we can save too ;].
Let’s go to the “action”:
1.Copy the files over to directory with GTA IV and overwrite it(don’t forget to make a backup).
2. Turn your net off or unplug the cable.
3. Run LAUNCHGTAIV.ece
4. The RGSC window will pop up – Choose to log in offline mode and in field with nick and pass type everything you want.

This kinda reminds me of Half Life 2 and the “AI disabled” experience. I guess someone will fix it too, emulating the server to which the game connects or by disabling it piece by piece. If it’s connecting to R* all the time validating itself then it`s a bad.ss hog of a game. I`d use a crack on the original just to get rid of all that nonsense.

Wow seriously, the game is unplayable due to cam shake and car acceleration, because you can’t do any missions (they all require a car).

The FCUKTHESCENE is working perfectly, but at a first install, i didnt have a “gtaiv.exe” in my folder… i had to download it and after that the crack worked. Simple.
Proper-Wurstsuppe is the patch I’m using. It fixes the drunk cam as long as all the graphical settings are set to the lowest. I tested at lowest, worked for 2 hours. Changed the graphics up and got the drunk cam within ten minutes. I changed it back down, worked just fine ever since. There’s probably some things you can raise for the settings, but I’m content with everything at lowest for now. I look forward to another patch to fix this in the future.
As far as the performance, I’m getting about 23FPS outside. It jumps to around 40 in the Bellic apartment. The benchmark tool in the game stated my graphics card was 99% usage while my CPU was 75%. I’m running a 8600GT and AMD dual core 2.5GHz and 2Gigs RAM. I hope this bit of info helps everyone figure out where they stand in performance, but I’m sure GTA4 just needs some optimization.

first i delete the file GTAIVDLF.dll, off the Fire wall and set the compatibility of the two files to WIndows 2000

i need help with the mission -logging on-.i cannot use any of the computers in the internet cafe.don't know if its a bug or something else.it says that i need to press *E* but when i do, it asks me the same thing all over again… i have been stuck with it for days now.:S searched everywhere for help but nothing good yet. some people say that they fixed it by just going to the cafe before the mission. well that does not work for me. so if anyone knows how to fix this problem please send me an e-mail.thank you.

i have windows vista inspiron 1525 and i keep getting rmn30 i tried downloading the service pack and it said my computer doesnt support the service pack does anyone else have inspiron 1525 and does gta iv work on inspiron 1525?
I made my decision, uninstall the game and find another game to play =)
