d1c8.jpgAnother release that got me curious this morning was this one. I remember I have seen this movies IMDB page when I was searching for information about the video game “Grand Theft Auto”. This film is not good rated but the story is about a pursuit and good cars getting wasted back in the ’70s. Some of you might find this interesting to watch. The quality is good and the movie is in full screen 4:3, enjoy!

Paula Powers, daughter of wealthy gubernatorial candidate Bigby Powers, decides to reject her parents’ attempt at matchmaking and run off to Vegas to marry her sweetheart, Sam Freeman. As they drive away in a stolen Rolls-Royce, spurned suitor Collins Hedgeworth follows behind in hot pursuit, along with a cadre of goons hoping to get the $25,000 reward that’s been offered for Paula’s return. Can the young lovers make it to Vegas for a quickie wedding before the forces of conformity and privilege arrive to put a stop to their romance?

    You see the thing about this movie is it not only stars Ron Howard,but this is his directorial debut also..and it’s actually a pretty good piece of American 70’s Car chase movies,Ron’s gone on to make some really top movies such as Apollo 13,Far and Away,Backdraft,Cocoon,Splash,A Beautiful Mind,Nightshift……Etc.
