The formula for making a successful movie looks quite simple: attractive woman, some good jokes and not too boring plot line. Gracie is a new comedy which tries to put all those elements together in a sporty drama: a young girl (Carly Schroeder) wants to play in the football team, but she’s little overlooked because of her gender. This dvd screener was nuked for having bad cropping (too much of the image is missing), but it’s still a nice release.
Set in 1978, Gracie is an inspirational film about a teenage girl who overcomes the loss of her brother and fights the odds to achieve her dream of playing competitive soccer at a time when girls’ soccer did not exist. Based on true events from the lives of the Shue family (producer and co-star Andrew Shue, Academy Award-nominated actress Elisabeth Shue), the film is directed by Academy Award-winning director Davis Guggenheim (An Inconvenient Truth), who happens to be part of the family as well, being married to Elisabeth Shue. The film also features a terrific 1970’s soundtrack including classic songs from Boston, Blondie, Aretha Franklin, and the Boss, Bruce Springsteen.

This movie is a bad crop for sure as well it has blurred watermarks in it.
Not just one, but FOUR.
Large one along the bottom – one almost right in the middle – and two on top on each side of the film. Quality seems nice minus the excessive blurs and of course being overcropped.
Another old cliché movie, as if this scenario has never been the subject of human rights rulings.

Ok kind of Movie, Video quality 5/10 Because of blur throughout the movie,Sound Quality 7/10.
