What matters today is how best you can organize your data, how fast you can access it, how easily you can get the precise information you want, not to mention weeding out unwanted data. Why do you think people prefer GMail over Yahoo! Mail (which is providing unlimited storage)? Also, Google's storage is shared between all their servies, like Picassa, GMail, etc. It's also not just the storage, its the integration of all their services that make them so convenient to use. Getting a rapidshare account or a large disk just isn't the same. You people aren’t getting the point – it’s not just about the storage, its about storage *with* management.
