I’m quite sure some people will find this application handy. It allows you to watch your youtube links on your pc. It has also a drag and drop feature for .flv files. They’re also making a video downloader and a video converter, but that’s not yet out.

i find it the best youtube downloader out there, as it gives the files it gives you the title of the video (so if the video title is “hello” it will give you the file called “hello.flv”

Use youtube + free youtube download scripts and you can download flv files. Play them with decent player + a good codec pack.

you can already download youtube videos through several websites and apps, and if you just want to play .flv files there are already several players which do that just fine too, making this app pretty much useless it seems
hey you can use Free Download Manager. . lets you download youtube videos without even watching them.. just copy the video link like this ” http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IJkMrl4AG8w ”
and download it with Free DOwnload Manager. even Orbit works perfectly. but i like FDM more.
there’s tons of firefox extensions the best is DownloadHelper. . . but cant download or grab video from firefox cache. still its good. to play FLV files simply use Media Player Classic ! or VLC (im not a big fan of VLC never liked it)..
i use Klite Mega Codec Pack. just install it and no headaches.

Media Player Classic already plays .flv-s.
lot’s of apps can play .flv’s now: GOM player, the KMPlayer, though I just use flvplayer. No need for commercial app with a crack.

if you use Firefox and most people do you can use the realplayer plugin to download and play .flv files just check out the picture and the link to the plugin.

Add another vote for Keepvid.com. Besides downloading the FLV files, lately Keepvid has also been providing MP4 download links for most videos as well. Usually, but not always, they’re a little higher quality than the FLV version. In a couple cases, they’ve turned out to be MUCH better than the FLV.
