do you need a pencil touch screen for this tutorials?
@3 No you don't, you need 3DS Max (or similar 3D app like Maya) and Photoshop (or similar 2D painting app like Painter). Remember that this isn't really a tutorial, more of an insight into how Josh Nizzi designs robots; don't expect step by step instructions.

(The way things are headed I think we are going to see some really great fan made movies in not so distant future. Bcoz techs and tools are becoming more and more accessible and affordable… Now anyone can set up a decent mini studio in his garage

what i really hate of this gnomon tutorials is that you can barely learn anything. This are like those how to draw mickey mouse classes that appeared in the old comics, where the first two steps were how to draw a sphere and then the final step was mickey full color and with shadows. This is the same, gnomon tutorials are nothing but a guy talking while you watch a fast forward video, sometimes not even the instructor knows what its going on, but they charge like if it where a step by step guide….

and @ tar0ds that think this tutorial is abobut transformers, get a life , learn values in peoples workflows of providing you effects and that "cool" movie u see on tv. and never actualy understand its alot of work, its a form of art, and a 3D artist doesnt give a s HIT in what the movie is abbout. Nore is he directing anything. damn crackers.
Oh and again. There are TONS of sites. THAT KEEP TRACK OF THINGS LIKE THIS ON TIME. WHITOUT UR viral posts of irrelevance. KEEP TO YOUR CRAP RELEASES ABBOUT vomit movies, and skidrow game coments. rls log is good for a laugh. and it should stay that way. no more serious posts that dont help kids. u can post movies on how to draw mikeymouse thats the same. ! (yes as the poster above sayd )
