Get Smarts Bruce And Lloyd: Out Of Control is a action/comedy genre movie. This version is released by Particle, directed by Gil Junger and written by Tom J. Astle & Matt Ember. This movie is very funny :-D What you need to know is, Bruce (Masi Oka) and Lloyd (Nate Torrence) are the two tech guys that work at Control. They essentially play a version of Q from the James Bond movies. :mrgreen:

PLOT:
This spin-off from 2008’s GET SMART, starring Steve Carrell, explores the comic adventures of the secret agent’s two technological wizards, Bruce and Lloyd. Expect plenty of pratfalls, explosions, and gadgets in this release that was produced to hit video stores just days after the parent film screened in theaters.

    a spin-off of a movie that is still showing in theatres? what did they do film it at the same time? i really doubt this has anything to do with the real get smart, why would they release a cheap straight to dvd spinoff at the same time the parent movie is in theatres? makes no sense..

    As for the movie, you only need to know that CONTROL is the good guys, and KAOS is the bad guys.
    Other than that, it’s a self-contained universe, with a guest appearance (via editing really) by Anne Hathaway.
    Pretty funny flick.

    This movie was pretty funny. I’ve already seen “Get Smart” and thought that was decent. This is not even close to as funny as “Get Smart” but worth the download. There is only a few references to “Get Smart” so I would recommend giving it a shot even if you haven’t seen the one in the theaters. The lack of reviews on the internet for this movie was kinda disappointing but what do you expect from a straight to DVD release.
