Get Smart PROPER DVDRip XviD-ARROW

Here is the PROPER rip from Arrow of ALLiANCE release which arrived couple of days ago. As stated on the NFO “This is not a proper of the out of sync subtitles but rather for their using a downsampled source to produce their xvid.” Personally, ALLiANCE rip looks fine, if you got that one stay with it, no need to waste your bandwidth.

Get Smart is a 2008 film adaptation of Mel Brooks and Buck Henry’s 1960s spy parody television series of the same name. The film stars Steve Carell as Maxwell Smart and Anne Hathaway as Agent 99. Alan Arkin, who also worked with Carell in Little Miss Sunshine, plays the Chief. Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, Terence Stamp, Terry Crews, David Koechner, Masi Oka, Ken Davitian, Larry Miller, Patrick Warburton and Dalip “The Great Khali” Singh also star. Bernie Kopell, who played Siegfried in the original series, makes a cameo appearance. Bill Murray also appears as Agent 13 hidden in an empty tree trunk.

Bungling secret agent Maxwell Smart, also known as Agent 86 for CONTROL, is on a mission to battle the forces of their evil crime nemesis known as KAOS with his more-competent partner Agent 99, (whose real name is never revealed) at his side. When the headquarters of U.S. spy agency Control is attacked and the identities of its agents compromised, the Chief has no choice but to promote his ever-eager analyst Maxwell Smart, who has always dreams of working in the field alongside stalwart superstar Agent 23. Smart will do whatever it takes to thwart the latest plot for world domination by KAOS.

    Does this mean there will be a new DVDR as well? Since ALLiANCE released the DVDR you’d think that was their source for their xvid. Just got the DVDR a couple days ago though and looked ok quality, but I only watched like the first minute. Hopefully it’s going to be okay.

    Agree with you, 5.1 should be the standard for audio. But free is free, and we are free to download a DVDR, but the 5.1 in a smaller format would be great. Time to update the scene rules.

    Due to scene rules who they must obey some releases have 5.1 surround and other just stereo.

    It’s getting to the point where I should probably just wait a month until the dust settles on all the screwups and “propers”.

    Doesn’t anyone bother to actually check these releases before they upload them? Oh, I forgot, then they wouldn’t be “FIRST!!!!!!!!!!!!” and all the other scene groups would laugh at them and steal their cookies…

    Really! How hard is it to CHANGE THE NAME OF THE FILES when uploading them to Rapidshare?? All links are dead - daaa! You have to be a moron to think that your files will last long enough for others to download when you don’t even bother to hide their true name from Rapidshare! I mean, seriously - what’s the point??
