Gangster High (original name is “Pongryeok-sseokeul”) is focused on real street-fights with young actors, which looks at least little more realistic than all these 1 against 50 scenes. Sang-ho and his friends Jae-gu and Chang-bae create a boys soccer club called “Tigers”. Sang-ho, whose main passions are hitting the books and kicking a soccer ball, meets Su-hee through Jae-gu. Su-hee is polar opposite from Sang-ho. While he is the model student and athlete, Su-hee is a tough but pretty problem student. Their differences inevitably draw them together. But Su-hee belongs to Jong-suk, the leader of a teen gang calling themselves “T&T”. The Tigers soon find themselves engulfed in a battle with T&T. i dont speak asian…who does anyway? but seriously why cant u display the asian names of the movies on Newtorrents, so i dont have to look the titles up in IMDB everytime to make sure iam not d/l this asian crap :/ though the moviez are good as i assume, but who teh fukc is downloading asian moviez anyway :/

Asian cinema is way ahead of hollywood… there has been so many good movies coming from asia lately. OldBoy is still my all time favorite movie!

Yep Asian movies rock, Ring was the first one I watched and it scared the s**t out of me. The American re-make however is utter shite.
I have watched loads since then, Old boy, lady Vengeance, Infernal Affairs, Ring 0, Ring 2, dark water, Ichi the killer, The Host. Highly recommend them.

Infernal affairs or ‘The Departed’ as it’s called was one movie Hollywood did a good job of.

Asian cinema is light-years ahead of Hollywood crap. SPL, Dragon Squad, Joint Security Area, 2009 Lost Memories, and tons of others are extremely good, as well as John Woos early stuff as well as most everything from Takeshi Kitano. For far less money Asian cinema churns out movies that LOOK better and have more story. Don’t worry, you will learn.

its a very good action drama film about korean high school violence and gang fights and bullying in general.
its worth watching for sure and one of the better releases of december06 on nti.
i awarded it 8/10 on imdb.

Oh there are some errors in the encode when using a directshow codec therefore best way is to watch with VLC player and enable subtitles. works fine this way.
