GamerZ 2005 DVDRip XviD-VoMiT

One more cheap comedy available: GamerZ, a British movie released by group VoMiT in a new dvdrip. This looks like an extremely poor movie, with very bad official website too – it meets the standards of 2002 websites, but we are five years ahead. No known actors included, mostly new young cast. Remeber that I am not responsible for mental damages caused by watching this crap :) .

A love triangle with a twist of fantasy! The hero is Ralph, a young nerd from a bad neighborhood who’s on his way to university for the first time. Ralph is completely downtrodden in life, but he escapes from a cruel reality that he can’t control by creating insanely detailed fantasy game worlds (as in fantasy games such as “Dungeons and Dragons” or “Tunnels and Trolls”), in which he is firmly in charge, as “Game Keeper”. When Ralph arrives at university he immediately takes over the fantasy role-playing society from the resident Game Keeper in a ruthless coup. His new players include neurotic risk management student Davy, metal-head theology student Hank and – most importantly – the beautiful Marlyn, a crazy Goth chick who believes she is an elf. She’s the ultimate object of geek lust, and Ralph falls for her hard.

I just watched the trailer and I think I lost at least 0.5 of an IQ point. Caveat Emptor, folks. Seriously though, you were being charitable about the website, it’s more like 1998, and not only does the film look like low budget crap, but it’s low budget BRITISH crap, the worst of all. Add to that the last VoMiT film I leeched, “Her Minor Thing,” was so out of sync (in the .avi itself, not a burning or media issue) as to be completely unwatchable. My bandwidth has better things to do, like download shit I’ll never even use (that at least won’t waste an hour and a half of my life.)

Weird the storyline reminds me of a book I almost finished until it got boring.. it was about kinds in a classroom and there teacher comes up with a fantasy game where you can be whatever you wanted, then when they got over to the other side they were left to fend for themselves, this sounds like a spoof from the book.

This is actually a humorous movie once you get past the fact that it’s really awkward. Also, it would probably help to be a geek. I’m not trying to defend any claims of it being a well-done or outstanding film, but certainly there are worse movies out there.
