VoMiT released this film today which might actually be of interest to a large amount of readers of rlslog. “Gamers” is a mockumentary, similarly shot to TV series like “The Office” and “Trailer Park Boys”. As the name “mockumentary” implies, it is basically a fake (or scripted if you will) documentary. This movie is about a bunch of Dungeons & Dragons gamers. Only download this if you think you’d enjoy a drama/comedy about this subject. Don’t expect to see some modern game footage here. HF.

Quality: If you’ve seen any other DVDRip by VoMiT then you know what kind of video quality you can expect here. Standard 1CD release, but they’ve thrown in AC3 audio, which is nice.

Gamers is a comedy about the lives of four slacker friends (and one obsessive interloper) living at home, -”with my parents… it’s just temporary… ’til they die”- working in the real world but playing in a fantasy world. Obsessed with a role playing game called Demons, Nymphs and Dragons these “gamers” are the subject of this hilarious comedy which chronicles their journey to make it through their horrendous lives while attempting to break the world record for role playing for over 74,558 hours. The sacrifice, the obsession, the blind dedication…this is their true story.

    If you try to download free it will cut you off after a few hundred MB, then you might sign up or wait. If your visit was from a link another RS user posted, that user gets a referral bonus.

    RS is good for downloading a few rars and then joining a torrent to get the rest.

    Definitely worth watching even if you’re not RPG fan. It’s basically just a comedy, if a slightly predictable one at points.
