Gadgets: clean your monitor with Cheeseburger

Sweets Cleaners are the sweetest way to clean the dust off your monitor. They are plush stuffed food item screen cleaners. Available (in Japan) in such low calorie flavors as cake (four different types), donuts, chocolates, cookies, and cheeseburgers they come in a variety of sizes for your screen cleaning needs. The larger ones such as the “big burger” shown above have layers that come apart for more cleaning surface.

The smaller ones like the donut shown above are keychain size and designed for your cell phone or other portable device. Sure you could just use your sleeve to keep dust, dirt and fingerprints off your screens but these Sweets Cleaners seem like a lot more fun. More products available from Japanese company Elecom for prices around 1000 Yen ($10).

    At first I was going to mock this, but the more I look at those cleaners the more I like them. I just hope they are made of some special fabric, so they don't leave dust or other particles.

    It's a good idea to leave the comments open this time, so people can give some feedback about the product.

    Since the product was available only in Japan and you can't purchase it unless you live there, no, Martin wasn't paid and this is just news.

    I was going to use diapers to clean my screen but then realized why not use a real live baby's bottom. What's softer than that?

    "More products available from Japanese company Elecom for prices around 1000 Yen ($10)."

    Why mention the amount in dollars then and link to that site?

    Just use a plain old 100% cotton T-shirt and a simple mixture of about 60% distilled water and 40% rubbing alcohol.

    @18

    No no!
    The water has to be somewhere around 53% and alcohol 47%. It may be better to keep alcohol at 37.16%. That will increase life of electronics by 3.17 weeks.

    I wonder how long before we see the first news items about John Q Public coming home drunk and hungry, eating that burger and ending up dead. I know my dog would have it destroyed as possible food the moment my back is turned anyway. Funny idea though.

    Not quite what I considered to be "Hot info about new scene releases!"
