In an increasing fear-driven world (which the establishment media helps drive) , the NWO keep pushing for less civil rights in the name of ‘the war on terror’ . These can come into effect of RFID tagging, biometrics in school and work places. The original purpose of biometrics would to be easier ID and security, and that such a thing. But wouldn’t it be bad if laws were passed to make it mandatory to have very tight biometric-like ID systems ? Although my views are obviously quite radical on this subject, issues including invasion of privacy, identity theft and system circumvention are also raised in this documentary about measuring human physiography and behavior. The show is originally done in French, but the version broadcast on SBS has English narration and yellow subtitles under the non-English speech. Note that the torrent was very slow, and that delayed me from posting this release earlier.

There will likely or eventually be a new national identifier that will tie a number to some biometric.
They wouldn’t need laws to force this either. If a system developed that you needed an identifier to get services, you would either do it or go without.
Much like going into a store and looking to buy something on credit. You either use the accepted form of identifier (your Credit Card) or you can’t buy it.

The sad part is that it’s not like privacy isn’t under serious attack, it is, but that has nothing to do with any “New World Order” or “the establishment media” drek, it has to do with human nature. People Google their friends and enemies for every bit of dirt they can find, ‘reality’ TV shows get huge ratings, ‘gossip’ mags sell like hot cakes. We like spying on others and resent any privacy they might have — it just rarely seems to occur to us that every time we allow it to become easier to spy on someone else it also becomes easier to spy on us. In days of yore those tendencies in us were held in check by the limitations of technology. Privacy has always been a function of obscurity, with technology less and less need be obscured.
The reality is we don’t need any ‘New World Order’ to strip us of our privacy, we’ll happily do it to ourselves just to get a pic of Brittany’s first day in jail up on the web. All that ‘NWO’ crap just helps hide that unfortunate reality and helps make it even harder to combat — Hey, it’s not me and my fellow citizens doing it, it’s the evil NWO! — the real problem.
