Very inactive and unknown group ANiVCD (animated VCD) released their first big-title animated film. This is their 5th release, with their last one being 45 weeks ago. ANiVCD’s other releases were some internal simpson episodes. The street or DVD release date of Bender’s Big Score is set for November the 27, 2007, meaning you will be able to download this 8 days ahead of anyone else. Bender’s Big Score is the first in a set of four DVD releases, set to be available in early 2008. The group does not give information about the specifics of the rip except for 950k video bitrate; nonetheless the snaps seem to be good 1CD DVDRip quality.
Planet Express sees a hostile takeover and Bender falls into the hands of criminals where he is used to fulfill their schemes.

I think the writer of the introductory text didnt do his homework or was still doing his homework when ANiVCD released pre-airs of futurama and simpsons regularly. AniVCD, an “unknown group?” What a disgrace.
They used to be huge. Everyone knew who they were. Hitman, Badfish, Wetherman, Liquidice…they capped and released most all of the big animated shows back in the day.

ANiVCD==unknown !?! Hello!? Where were you 1998 ? ANiVCD was _the_ one and only tv rlsgroup, most of everyone’s simpsons/futurama (and the early family guy) is probably based on their releases.

Yes there is such an episode on the DVD, but honestly what do you think its about? LOL
It’s a full 22min+ off hypnotoad with the classic white background and staring at you non-stop (ocasionaly doing some other humorous things) but other than that it’s the same thing you see inside the show(Futurama)… DAMN! I love that black-humour…

I was a founding member of ANiVCD. Although many of us have moved on (including myself), we are the group who can honestly be named the first group to introduce TV to the scene, with Futurama, Family Guy, and The Simpsons. We ushered in an entirely new (non-anime) scene genre.
And when the scene grew, and competition came, we improved with them. We established connections with resources able to capture Pre Release episodes. It was (and still is, I’m sure) a vibrant and enjoyable community of folks, dedicated to spreading the shows we thought deserved everyone’s attention, especially in non-us locales.

idk if you guys knew this or not but i had to share, futurama is in fact comeing back. atleast 13 episodes are set to air on comedy central come 2008 wich is just in time since their contract has ran up with adult swim.
