Funny Weekend Video: Workout accident
Last few days were extremely boring – we haven’t seen anything interesting except from nice dvd screener of 28 Weeks Later. There’s no decent movie released today so far, although I expect few cams soon. To make this waiting for better stuff little shorter, watch this short clip. Working out in a gym may be dangerous sometimes.

While it might look funny, I don’t think it IS funny, that guy probably got a hefty prolapse in his spine now, if not even a severed spine, and I doubt he’ll be doing any training any soon.

I can laugh at other people’s accidents and misfortune as long as it’s harmless but I don’t laugh if people get seriously hurt, which no doubt this guy did.

what i’ve seen instead was very disturbing –

People would actually label this stuff “chocking and not funny at all”? What is wrong with you guys… Haven’t you ever had acces to internet before? There’s tons of stuff, tenfold of times worse than this silly movie (think: skateboardvids, hangvids, slaughter (ogrish style). This persons world hasn’t collapsed all of a sudden. Maybe he needed to get a checkup at the local healthcenter, but probably looks far worse then it actually was. Ive done some pretty foolish similar things which probably would look awful taped on cam, though it never led to serious injuries. Look at the bright side of the vid. I wouldn’t consider it funny, but it sure isn’t horrible lol

It’s pretty much his own fault. First of all the guy doesn’t control his movements, ( e.g. legs go “randomly” sideways, this is either caused by inexperience, if this is true he should have trained with a partner, or he was training to heavy which resulted in a sloppy control of his exercise )
Secondly the exercise itself is with that particular piece of equipment is overrated, and as you can see not accident proof.
Still, I guess it’s great for a good laugh.
