Funny Games U S LIMITED DVDSCR XviD-SAPHiRE

Another nice new movie has been released by the scene today this time being horror/thriller “Funny Games”. This movie stars well known British actress Naomi Watts as Ann. This is a very interesting horror movie that I first heard about on Jay Leno and it seemed like a scary disturbing movie. Don’t be fooled by the low video bitrate of 676 kbps as this movie doesn’t have a lot of high motion scenes, audio is quite good coming in at 154 kbps vbr. NOt sure if there are any B/W scenes or watermarks since I haven’t got this yet, so if you no post in the comments. If you’re into these types of films you’ll certainly enjoy this. Download and enjoy :)

(P.S. As you can tell from the name of this release it’s the US version of this movie)

Edit: There is a large blur at the top of the screen

In this provocative and brutal thriller from director Michael Haneke, a vacationing family gets an unexpected visit from two deeply disturbed young men. Their idyllic holiday turns nightmarish as they are subjected to unimaginable terrors and struggle to stay alive.

Yeah like super killers with ‘rewind’ abilities. Come on, this is far from reality…the reality would be those two fukkers would eventually make a mistake and get fukk’d! They don’t look suspicious at all, with those clown looking gloves, being quiet all the time and only once in a while saying something, oh no, I’m sorry – asking questions. In the first line – would the kid really be so stupid not to climb over the gates? Staying on the cottage makes only one ending for him…any1 would run. After that – the shotgun. Is he so dumb not realising it’s a trap? I guess so. But the gates make no sense…
I mentioned the ‘rewind’ at the beginning. I’m afraid I don’t have any comment for that one. Maybe it would have been better if just Darth Vader landed there and used the Force to kill all three of them. Without those clowns.
And for the record, Se7en is way better than this movie. In the genre Vacancy beats it completely.

now this is odd… can’t remember a director that makes 2 versions of the same movie… Haneke directed 11 years ago Funny Games: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0119167/ and now here it is, a US version of the same, from the same director… the first version is awesome!!! let’s see this new one ;)

If you’re interested in the “why is there a remake” part:
read http://www.avclub.com/content/interview/naomi_watts … she’s also talking about how Hanekes approach to the remake was. It’s also about how a US family (as compared to a european/{austrian or german} family) would react to such a situation, different culture etc.

Goc, you must be joking. If you don’t understand why the sequence you’re talking about is included in the movie, then.. well.. you’re pretty dense. Quiet all the time? Another joke from your part?

The blur at the top of the screen is very annoying. I thought the film was little more than a wad of gratuitous violence—and that’s coming from someone who would watch Naomi Watts blow her nose on screen for 2 hours and be happy :) I put this in the recycle bin the moment it was done.

I’m only 10 minutes in right now, but it seems to me to be a lot like a workprint or something. It just feels like one, not a DVDSCR. Maybe I don’t know what I’m talking about.

This movie is no where to be found on the net, only dead links. I think Henke or what ever that little nazi directors name is, has been scouring the net and rear-ended all the rapidshare links. Have a try for your self. And yes there are more then enough BlueRay links working.. Strangely
