Funker Vogt – Aviator (2007)
Here some electronic trance music from a German band Funker Vogt, thier new album called Aviator is due to release on the 22nd of may and here is the album torrent almost a month earlier from release date.
Little over a year since Funker Vogt released Navigator, they are back in the cockpit with their follow-up, Aviator. Navigator indicated Funker Vogt’s new direction and Aviator continues that by presenting to the fans what they have been longing for: 12 brand new tracks for the dance-floor. Just as with the previous album, Aviator follows an overall concept: eventually, through time, memories of history and war fade away. Starting with the title track and flowing through each one after, the theme extends throughout the cover artwork, booklet, and band photos as well. The cover shows an old airplane and many more are found throughout the booklet, but not as a whole. Individual pieces are shown to illustrate the ideas of time, history, decay, aging and abstract ideas through the details of cracks, peeling paint, and crumbling rivets of these planes that are rusting away into obscurity and will soon be gone forever. With their passing, memories will fade into obscurity (much like the soldiers whose memories are vanishing) and only pictures will remain without a direct link to the physical manifestation. All of which symbolically illustrates the subject matter.

The lyrics deal at least in part or collectively with the theme. Highlights include: “Blind Rage” (discusses past wars), “Thanatophobia” (deals with the fear to die and finally be forgotten), “Child Soldiers” (kids fighting in wars), “City of Darkness” and “Babylon” (the dark and gloomy outcome of the end of the world), and “Paralyzed” together with “Darwin’s Nightmare” (talk about current situations facing humanity). Finally, along with “My Fortune” and “Frozen in Time” which are more personal in nature, “Hostile Waters” can be seen as the missing link between “Navigator” and “Aviator” by alluding to reformation, the obstacles along the way and the long awaited landing on a new shore.
A big undertaking went underway to diversify the sound structures within Aviator. Over all, the album is fast and beat driven, with more emphasis placed on the sounds and samples to make it a much more pronounced album. This can be seen with Aviator’s club tracks like ”City of Darkness” (136 bpm) or ”Paralyzed” (130 bpm) which are seemingly mid-tempo songs when compared to ”Thanatophobia” (144 bpm), ”One” (140 bpm), and ”My Fortune” (139 bpm). All in all Aviator comes across as fresher, more aggressive and diversified than Navigator but still encompasses Funker Vogt’s signature elements.

Yep, PW required -> useless.
I’m not signing up to a random torrent site to get this, what’s wrong with using NTi torrents?
The torrent is hosted by filemp3.org, you have to sign up. I believe registrations are open.
No, BT torrent has both public and private torrent so even if you joined you still wouldn’t be able to download it.
amperage: Guh? Open http://www.filemp3.org and sign up, that’s a guaranteed download.
If you prefer, demonoid.com has a torrent of this album that is open for non-members.
Yippie – let’s all join this site so when the MPAA raids their servers they got the complete dl-history of all their users for free.
I’ll never understand how people can be so stuped to register at such sites!
WORST. POST. EVER.
No it’s BTJunkie torrent site and I use it for their search engine and not to much else. Still private and public torrents and even if you do join, no password. I wouldn’t worry as someone else well be posting this album sometime in the near future.
Umm, they`re aggrotech, not trance. Thanks for the heads up though, I`ll download it from somewhere else.

Woah James.. hold the hate son. Maybe when you pay for something you could actually have a reason to complain.
Keep up the good work A.J! I am enjoying being exposed to some new and previously unknown artists daily.

Get your snobbery out of here and go back to listening to whatever the fuck it was you were listening to.
Asshole.
@ LOL, look who’s calling the kettle black….
@amperage
don’t be a racist!
Nice to see some FWYH releases
@ Suffrage, it’s not a racial comment it is an very old saying. The sad fact is some saying have gone by the wayside for political correctness. Black Kettle restaurants chain changed their names in the 80’s to just Kettle restaurants…. Sambo’s restaurant changes completely and so on. the old saying look’s who calling the kettle black is commenting on someone who’s behavior is the same as the person complaining.
Amperage is right, it isnt a racial comment. the real saying is, ” well if it isn’t the pot calling the kettle black.”
shut up shuttin up.
is this the offical rls, there was one a few days ago, although it had voice overs and was not proper
What’s with the guy with the green face? Seasickness?
Bunch of faggets if you ask me
