I keep trying to find good English subs for this, but keep coming up with some 2nd year English students interpretation…?

There must be proper interpretation of words that make believable the action on the screen of cinema. Above most all, needed is more time to read the action of the words that are described. Two full lines for one second…brain hurts to read!

If anyone ever comes up with some passable subs, please post. The current one’s are laughable, if not frustrating…

This movie has the exact same plot as “Lake Dead (2007)”
Watch that after this and you’ll see what I mean.

Those subs from those links sound like a drunk kid with
down syndrome wrote them and to top it off ran it through Babelfish. These are some of the worst subtitles I’ve ever seen.

I have to agree, the French are currently reigning masters of the horror genre. I saw “À l’intérieur (2007)” last night and my jaw was on the ground. That movie… holy sh1t… Disturbing, bloody and very tense.

Spain is also producing some great horror movies lately. Although not as gory as anything from France. “The Orphanage” and “[REC]” were very effective and very different movies.

Going to see this one tonight. Hope it’s good! I’ve also been told that I might enjoy “Sheitan (2006)” and “Ils (2006)” both from France.
