Forums Temporarily Down
Well as many of you have mentioned in the comments and on IRC, the RLSLOG Forums are currently down. This is due to the current host and unfortunately Martin has been the only one in contact with them so far and he is gone for the weekend. Its unfortunate that we should experience problems today because we have already made plans to change to a host in the Netherlands tomorrow. If we’re lucky the forum problems are resolved, but the worst case scenario is that you’ll have to wait until night time on monday when we will have brand new hosting. ReeGed over and out.

If you don’t like how they run their forums, or anyone, for that matter, don’t go to them. This isn’t a dictatorship, and we aren’t making you be here.
As for the down time, yeah, it sucks, but we can live with it. The only thing I don’t like about the whole thing is that we had to wait 4 hours before them telling us why it was down. For the first 20 minutes, I thought it was me, then I assumed it was hacked.

i was wondering why i coulcn’t access the forum.
theres only 20 or 30 people using it anyway so its no big deal. -In fact it doesnt serve any real purpose at all!

i’ve been visiting rlslog for some time for now and i deem it good. i’m quite a busy man but i happen to have a bunch of henchmen at my disposal, so i can offer help (if needed) setting up or debugging rlslog forums.

Have you guys thought of using a second host as a back-up? you just need to sync the database, but you can always have a secondary address to limp along with should anything take a dive?
