Formula1 2008 Japanese Grand Prix READ NFO WS PDTV XviD-433

With 3 races to go and the gap between Lewis Hamilton and Filipe Massa being 7 points, this season has all the ingredients for attempting to match 2007’s finale. So we visit the land of sushi, sake and geishas for a few dozen spins around the Fuji Speedway. It’s tagged READ.NFO because 433 decides, quite rightly, to have a go at NOsegmenT for their PROPERing methods of Italy’s qualification cap. To spare you extra worries, the “Homepage” link doesn’t have any spoilers, just in case you were wondering…

P.S. This is capped from ITV1 (UK), so you get the best commentary possible :)

The Formula One season continues with round 16 from the Fuji circuit in Japan. With
only three races to go, Felipe Massa will be aiming to close the seven point gap to
Lewis Hamilton at the top of the standings as both drivers continue their quest for
the 2008 world championship.

DaRmEtH has been capping F1 races in the UK for a long time. The very best format is chosen for each race. Singapore was x264 because xvid looked poor with the night time back drop. This time again, x264 is used for the Fuji race.

    @ #11 (JorG3):
You obviously don’t watch Top Gear do you? Hamilton was the “Star in A Reasonably Priced Car,” which is a Suzuki Liana, and he completely destroyed the moist track.

Here’s the clip on the Tube:
    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RpUQY-zoFnE

You can skip to 6:50 if you don’t wanna see the interview and just wanna watch the lap.

This, to me at least, blows your comment out of the water as far as Hamilton. They should bring Massa to the track too. Not to see who’s faster, but to show everyone that F1 drivers are trusted with driving those million dollar machines for a reason.
    ____

    @ #13 (f1fan):
Do you know anywhere I could find rips of the other F1 races? They come on so late here in the US. I would prefer non-torrents (RS would be nice since my connection in this apartment has all but three ports closed) but if that’s all you have, I’ll just have to make due. Thanks.

hamilton would still be top of the game in any other car, as for massa thats another story. if your looking for any f1 races check tpb and search for “darmeth itv”. as for this race i didnt get to watch the first 20 laps, but all i know is that im liking the way the season is coming to a close. if mclaren and ferrari dont watch out, i can bet the kubica will take it home on a under powered car

Thanks for the link. I’ve heard of that site before from someone on FinalGear.com’s forums but neglected to go. I’ll have to check that site out some more since it says it has WRC links as well. Since Speed[TV] dropped WRC for more NASCRAP coverage, I haven’t been able to see my rally highlights.

well actually, the Australian commentary is probably better because it is based on the ITV commentary but typically (I think not always) the ad breaks are shorter so you get some added input from the Aussie guys before they return to ITV. And the Aussie guys are pretty insightful.

Star Sports coverage of the race is the best!No ad breaks for the last 10-12 laps and a very good commentary team of Steve Slater n Chris Goodwin.
Although Chris is busy in some GT racing,Karun Chandok was superb in commentary for this race. Some of the other guest commentators were good too.

It is obvious that many can not distinguish a big driver of a driver with a big car. Remember Kovalainen at Renault last year? He did not achieve anything, however this year his races results are much better, just because his car is better, and he does not reach the level of Hamilton because its function is to be number two on the team.

Lewis has already 5 sanctions this season!

But its ok, UK didn’t have a driver with real champ chances until now, that’s why the media love him.
