FOOTBALL MANAGER 2009-TL
The peer to peer scene steps in the common order of the warez scene once again when TorrentLeech released a cracked and patched version of Football Manager 2009. This game is a big success year after year and there’s nothing to change about that this time. The game has pretty low system requirements as well so you shouldn’t have any problems playing it.

Football Manager 2009 is set to feature a vast array of all new features including, for the first time ever, a full 3D view of the world famous Football Manager match engine.
The Football Manager match engine is being brought into full 3D with motion captured animations for each player, developed in conjunction with SEGA’s in-house studio, Sports R&D Division. You can now watch your matches in 3D from multiple camera angles, and can re-watch any part of the match by fast forwarding and rewinding the action using a new match time bar that flags the key moments in the game.
There is also a new full screen TV view, where players can customise their match view by choosing the information they would like to view during the match, be it the latest scores or player performance stats for the match, and arranging this information onscreen using a new drag-and-drop widget system, that lets players customise their match day screen with the information that they need as a football manager.
Football Manager 2009 will also allow players to receive added help from their Assistant Manager with pre-match and in-match feedback on how the team is performing, as well as hints on how the team could play better. So if you can’t work out why your tactics aren’t working, why the opposition seem to effortlessly demolish your team, or why a new signing isn’t fulfilling his potential, having the advice of a good Assistant Manager will be an invaluable asset.

well i just used the links in post #1 (which also contains the patch and the crack) and i seem to be up and running after LOADS of unraring
basically:
1) you unrar till you have your .iso
2) mount the .iso and install
3) patch
4) copy the crack to the \Program Files\Sports Interactive\Football Manager 2009 directory and run it
i haven’t played the game for a long period of time or anything so i cannot really say how long this will work for but i am up and running at least

Can anyone confirm what #66 says? I remember that FM 2008 would screw up your game if you were using a crack by loading the wrong teams into important competitions or something like that. You had to use a dvd image.

have been informed privately of both of these things, thought the nuking was official but if it’s not on any of the sites yet i guess i’m jumping the gun. apparently this wasn’t supposed to be released at all anyway.

It’s worth downloading even if the good crack is not out yet. Simply, because you will have to download a game anyways, so just download it, patch it and wait for good crack.
no point downloading cause you don’t know whether the good crack will be a patch or not when it comes. If the good crack is a patch as well it might not work with the POS you have left after using the crack from this no-good release.

So, is it true that you will get sacked after one season with this game, with this release, or is it just in Fifa Manager 2009?
The patch seems to be the normal one. The patch isn’t “cracked”, I mean. So the only difference with this release and a next one would be the means to crack the executable.
I have been told that with this game it isn’t necessarily sacking after one season, but that the code to update to the next season simply will not run (i.e. new players, fixtures etc).

So we’ll have to play a full season, potentially wasting it, to try if that is true. Probably, any crack that they release won’t work with that save, as we started it with this release. Oh well.
In any case, links from #6 work and the game runs as it should, apart from that second seasons not being loaded thing.

The iso should be fine when we get a working crack (I’m thinking that the crack was made with the exe from the demo and thats why some things are not working). the patch seems to be the official one though, so any saved games should be compatible with future cracks that will be released

1 – Mount the iso image to Daemon Tools
2 – Run the installation (Remembering to select “activate via phone” and NOT Steam)
3 – Complete installation and close the activation code box. Don’t worry about that.
4 – Open the Patch folder, run and install that.
5 – Go to the Crack folder, and run the small file labeled “fm91_t1″ (If you’re running Windows Vista, right click this file and select “Run as administrator”). Then you’ll open a small box telling you to find “fm.exe”. Go to C:/Program Files/Sports Interactive/Football Manager 2009 and select this file, it’ll then crack it for you.
6 – The game should work. Play it and have fun.

You can never know who works for the game company on these comments, but I can tell you that FM 2008 detected you had a cracked game and filled international competitions with unrealistic teams, so whenever anyone asked about it in the official forums, they knew he had cracked the game. So it wouldn’t surprise me if they did something similar on this one.

IIRC, last year, the director of SI (I think his name is Miles something) made a complete tit of himself on the official support forums when he laid into someone for illegally downloading the game, when it turned out the bug was in the retail version.
I think the threads been deleted now.
I agree with Adam. Everything is working fine. The current crack must have been made using demo as you cant go on holiday and might get sacked after a season(havent reached there yet). But it will be sorted out sooner or later.

Please can somebody help? I have unrarred all files to get to the .iso and have burnt the iso to DVD but it will not install. I get the ‘InstallAnywhere Macrovision’ at the start and it goes all the way to 100% then nothing happens. Tried and tried again, but the same thing happens.
I have tried using software to hide the virtual drive but i stil have the same problem.
Can someone please help or point me in the right direction.

Just thought I’ll save you all some time and let you know that post 65 is the real deal people. Just remember to install the 9.1 patch first and then copy the .exe file into the directory and replace the existing one and it should work fine. Well thats how I done it anyways, create a backup of the original .exe just to be safe.
Scrap that last post, once you finish loading up a new game a message comes up saying that the copy protection has failed.
