Group CAMERA released movie “Fool’s Gold” in cam quality. Are you really going to bother it with it though? Yet another romantic comedy starring Matthew McConaughey and Kate Hudson (deja vu?) that is designed to put more money in their pockets. With scores as low as they are on IMDB and RT, I wonder if we’ll even get a giggle out of this one. Watching a bad movie in bad quality sounds like a punishment to me. Oh well…

Synopsis: Ben “Finn” Finnegan (Matthew McConaughey) is a good-natured, surf bum-turned-treasure hunter who is obsessed with finding the legendary 18th century Queen’s Dowry-40 chests of exotic treasure that was lost at sea in 1715. Very disappointing that you would try to trick people like that on this site.
Normally I like when people leave a review of the movie before I download it, it helps me not waste my time or a dvdr… but I went and saw this with my gf last night because ya know a good man will make a sacrifice for his gf every once in a while as she’ll go see any movie I want, whether she cares to see it or not; as most great women do.
I was a bit annoyed with the crappiest previews Ive ever seen for a movie. Now this wasn’t the best movie I’ve ever seen not by a long shot but this movie wasn’t the romantic comedy or comedy even that they make it out to be. It has a whole story to the movie and if you know who the great Mel Fischer the worlds greatest treasure hunter is, then watching this movie will be quite enjoyable.
I was surprised at how much better it was than how poor I expected it to be. Its really not that bad of a movie, its not a great movie. Its not a bad movie though either, its just an enjoyable movie with some stupid idiocy thrown in to “cheese it up a bit” lol. Theres no romance in the movie to call it a romantic comedy either, its all about their quest to get a treasure that Matthew Mc’s character (*whos a treasure hunter) finally discovered but not until after his wife divorces him.
I’d give it a 6 maybe a 6.5 like i said its not a terrible movie, but its not the best comedy by a long shot either, and actually although theres some stupid comedy thrown in.. the movie is about a story of the treasure.
blah….thats my 10 cents.
*and besides if your gf likes either of these “actors” or likes chick flicks, she’ll like this. So take one for the team… Ha Ha

This movie is really not that bad of a movie, its not a great movie. Its not a bad movie though either. I’d give it a 6 maybe a 6.5 like i said its not a terrible movie, but its not the best comedy by a long shot either.
Hope that helps you people understand how a good reviewer rates a movie.

Hey guys i know there a sample link but ive just been to a site that you can watch the whole movie streaming but i just wanted to see the cam quality at the beginning of the film, not a sample of a properly set up cam during a film and this is shaking all over the place, check this link out and see the first couple of minutes of the quality, its on an angle, has writing as the introduction and you cant read all the writing either

@52 Thx, link does show the cam and the quality is not good. Saw this in theater and it was good, a lot more action than was advertised. The beach and ocean scenery is breathtaking and the cam really takes a lot away from the views, explosions, fights, etc. Wait for a rip, it is worth it.
Has anybody found a copy of this movie that does not black out?
This torrent cuts out for 3 minutes right in the middle of the movie and then comes back on. But I would like to watch one that does not do this. Any suggestions?

Ah yay, you di-ckheads and re-tards. I have seen this film (and even giggled – thats for the j-erko who has written this idiotic article). It is really funny, amusing and nice. I can understand that you American id-iots like only movies where everything blows up and explodes, blood is everywhere and someone is wreaking some cool havoc, huh? You gotta understand not everyone likes that kind of bull-s-hit, so please – do not judge before you can see it for yourself. I hate such “cool people” who do not bother watching a film but they are so *smart* to slam it at once.
