Foo Fighters-Echoes Silence Patience and Grace-2007-HDP

Nearly a week before US release, “Foo Fighters” newest album: Echoes, Slience, Patience & Grace, has now been released online! Personaly, “Foo Fighters” is one of my favorite bands, and has been for a while. In this album, like their previous ones, the Foo Fighters bring you hard rock with a few some soft tracks thrown in. Their single, released recently, “The Pretender” is a great sample of whats to come in this album.

Foo Fighters are an American rock band formed by musician Dave Grohl in 1995. The group is named after the World War II term “foo fighter”, used to refer to mysterious aerial phenomena. For the followup to “In Your Honor”, the band decided to call in The Colour and the Shape producer Gil Norton. In an interview with XFM, Grohl noted that the band was eager to expand on their signature sound: “So the album that we’re making sounds like a Foo Fighters album, but it’s definitely moving in a few different directions. It’s cool man, I love it.” The new album, titled “Echoes, Silence, Patience & Grace,” is set for release on September 25, 2007 (US).

Did anyone ever post a 192kbps+ version of Foo Fighers: In Your Honor without the spaces between the tracks? Or, is that how the 2 CDs were supposed to be? You can hear the pause between tacks 6 and 7 on disc #1. I found a few different versions of the album, but they all have that problem.

The transcoded one posted on all the torrent sites last week seems to be better than this actually. This has silence at the end of every track, that didn’t. And the first second or so of every track is missing. They all start already into the music.

this is most definitely a transcode. a legit FLAC has been uploaded to oink and a proper rip will surface once its fully seeded out.

Foo Fighters get faggier with each album. They used to rock. Now Dave Grohl wants to go in ‘different directions’. Just like a bunch of cock smokers. Foo Fighters is the new Nickelback.

thank you Jered - I hear these guys on the radio lots. ww.cfox.com to listen

This album unfortunately sucks, as does every new Foo Fighters album it seems. Shame. They never really topped their first few releases.

Check out Biffy Clyro - Puzzle, hitting the peak of their career as opposed to steadily deteriorating. Rock the cocks off of Foo’s thats for sure.

Got this download a week ago…still
its a FUCKING great album. “The Pretender” is not the greatest song….and is definatly the hardest track.

O right fuckoff you are so cool cause you hate Foo Fighters and Nickelback. How about shutting the F up then and go listen to whatever the critic and scenesters tell you is cool. Man I get so tired of this bs. Just listen to what you like and not what you are told is cool. Only listening to unpopular bands is just stupid sometimes. Maybe they are not successful because they suck. I like a lot of off the wall stuff but I don’t hate everything that is popular. Nickelback = the New Creed.
That said this is a good cd and the pretender video fuckin rocks.

Whoever said the 1st album was the best…RIGHT ON! I saw them in Raleigh in 96′ with the original line-up. THAT SHIT FUCKING ROCKED. Saw them at the PNC Center with the ‘Chili Peppers in 2000…totally blowed, even though Dave walked in the crowd…it was just a big arena show which sucked. Matter of fact, Flea did a bass solo that ruled the entire show.

wow i cant believe im saying this, but this album sucks. the only good songs on this are “pretender”, “cheer up boys”, and “summer’s end”. the rest are just crappy bluegrass songs. they needed a lot more songs like “pretender”, songs that kick ass. this cd is like “Disc 2 of In Your Honor: The Album”, only most of the songs on that cd beat this one any day. these guys are my favorite band ever, but they really fucked up on this one.
