Group EXPLOSiON released another interesting application which could be useful for some readers of RLSLOG. Fontonizer is a font organizer. This sounds little weird, doesn’t it. But it is very useful thing actually – if you ever tried to download some more fonts for your computer, or if you work with Photoshop from time to time, you probably already know how user-unfriendly is Windows font management. It’s basically a list of various files with no option how to view the font detail or do something more with it. This is where Fontonizer comes in the play.

Fontonizer is an easy to use Font Organizer for Windows 95/98/ME/NT/2000/XP with an explorer-like interface which allows you to see the drives with font files: hard drives (including network drives), CD-ROMs, optical disks, ZIP disks, Jazz disks and other drives with font files.

Would you like to see your text with different fonts and compare them? windows standard font viewer can not show 1000 and more fonts in one time. More over – windows font viewer can not show one text by 2 different fonts! But you can see a much more fonts with help of Fontonizer internal font viewer. Also font viewer will show full font info and character table of font to you.

Can you organize your fonts by Windows? Place fonts to “handy” group, “artistic” group, etc. No, you can not! But it is easy with Fontonizer internal font manager. “drag’n'drop” fonts to folders “handy”, “artistic”, etc. in “Favorite fonts”. Keep order of your fonts any time!

    I´m using Fonts Viewer … it´s free, it´s good, it´s got lots of features.

    Freeware – coz it´s the chippest :o )
