Another foreign movie this time not a Asian movie but instead a Turkish movie called Fog And Night. I personally haven’t watched it but it looks good and comes with a variety subtitles including English. Enjoy.
Fog and the Night is the search of an investigator who has lost his confidence in his organization and whose happy”family father” order has been disrupted by his young lover.And introverted man due to his profession , not a big talker or well in expressing his feelings,Sedat is being consumed , going through the hardest time of his life , not able to silence his guilty conscience because he was unsuccessful in solving the murder of his partner , whom he saw a brother .His faith in his organization is shaken as he witness the schemes in machination inside the organization and between the organization and the state.Meanwhile , while trying to find his lover who has disappeared after falling for a former militant , he does not refrain from making use of the filthiest methods of his profession.

Ignoring all the ignorant comments on the Turks and their history, I will just give one TRUE example:
While some called what happened a ‘genocide’, the brothers of the same hood in the west of Ottoman Empire kept their jobs in bureaucracy and everything. The armenian community lived their daily lives and were not imposed to any threat or any other thing.
The real case is, while the turks fought with the russian in the east (where the armenians lived happily with turks in same cities and villages), the russian incited and supported the armenians to rebel against the empire. Some of the armenians formed up groups and started the massacres against the turks and in the end, as a precaution the state ordered the deportation of armenians.
That’s it.
And ‘Turkey is asian’, is this an insult?
I am happy I am not ‘oh-so-civilized oh-so-western’! Otherwise we had to kamekaze public aeroplanes into the skycrapers during hours and invade Iraq, Afghanistan god knows what is next!
And most of all, we had to maintaining colonialism in Africa for their mines or whatever and then leave them to their prehistoric-times life conditions. We had to watch kids die of starvation or lack of medicine in the 21st century while we were busy with the cash account in Central Banks.

All right, it seems many here has an idea of what happened but little knowledge about it. Let me explain what happened back in 1915. This is coming from a historian in an ivy league college, and for clarity I will try to be concise.
- England, France, Russia against Germans and Turks in WWI; but Russia isn’t doing well and is about to give up. She has huge manpower but little supplies and Germans block the land connection to Western Europe.
- Ottomans and English are fighting all over in North Africa and Middle East as well at the time.
- English and French navies attack Gallipoli to take Turks out, or at least clear a way to Russia to keep her fighting; but they are repelled.
- They then turn to Armenians living under the Ottoman control and get them to start a rebellion. Russia recruits over a million Armenian volunteers from her own lands. This way Ottomans will have to abandon Middle East and possibly surrender, leaving Germans all alone.
- As practically every Turkish able men were sent to fight, the rebellion grows and turns bloody very quickly.
- Armenian rebels form what are called ‘committees’ and start a terror campaign that claims over 150k lives in Eastern Asia Minor. Most, but not all Armenians join the slaughter, some even help Turks to hide.
- Turks are already thinned out so they retreat in Middle East. At the same time the remains of the army of Gallipoli return and are sent to Eastern provinces to quell the rebellion. The sultan decrees a forced migration for Armenians. Terrible idea, but it is important to add that the Sultan pays for their belongings, and asks them to return when the war is over.
- As both armies approach, Armenian rebels see that they don’t stand a chance to fight them off, so they leave as well. However, the native pop. (Turks, Kurds etc.) retaliate more and more during the exodus as the soldiers arrive..
- With the lack of food, the cold and the retaliation of the pop. about 250k Armenians die, and few of the ones that survive return after the war. However those who helped the Turks in the first place are protected by them in return and remain in Ottoman lands.
So, in a nutshell; Armenians are provoked to rebel by England. Many do so and kill 150k while the Ottoman army is away. Army returns, they are forced out of the country and lose 250k people on their way out. The number 1.5 million is greatly exaggerated, and simply not true, as there were only about 1.2 million Armenians under Ottoman control throughout the empire and most lived in the west.. I hope this post can end all the pointless bickering.

Sorry but just couldn’t stand reading 5-year-old kiddish jokes and primary school level ignorant but most of all racist comments about my people so had to inform bloggers to prevent disinformation.
