Guys from LCHD released a BluRay rip of 2008 animated family movie Fly Me To The Moon few hours ago. Their NFO is for some reason wrong though, with IMDB link to completely different movie. Anyway, Fly Me To The Moon is famous for being the very first animated movie created for 3D technology and it was a huge IMAX hit last year.

In the Kennedy days, all the States buzz about the Apollo moon program, even the bugs. Grandpa fly keeps ‘inspiring’ his grandson and two mates, a nerd and a glutton, with heroic stories. New they decide to get in on the action at Cape Canaveral via an astronaut’s bred box. Grandpa also gets involved. There’s also an evil Soviet Russian fly to with.

    This movie actually tanked at the box office, pulling in $1.9 mill on opening weekend, $41 mill worldwide. Though it was in 3D, the story and animation was definitely subpar compared with other animated releases. New technology just can’t carry a movie on its own.
